Bynum was absolutely the right pick. Not a big fan of the Horford pick though.

the kings front office was enamored with Al Horford and were extremely impressed with his pre-draft workouts, but found Bynum's upside too intriguing to pass up

I would have picked Horford has I stayed in the same spot. Top +/- of any player left on the board. High PER, Big strong, rebounds blocks shots, all star. Still very young.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I have never heard of a team saying that, then having it work out in the end.

The Washington Wizards select Al Horford, reports are surfacing that this pick was part of a trade and Horford will not stay in Washington.

5 tps says horford ends up in fake Toronto.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.

He was my #1 guy at the 5th pick. Very nice.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Bynum and Horford were my top 2.  [dang], so much for hoping everyone would be infatuated with older veterans  ::)

I assume it will be the opposite and every young player will fly off the board early.

Yeah, I had the same guys.  I think you'll see some vets go soon, though.

We could be here a while

Atzar isn't on and his pick isn't due until 1:00

That said, as it becomes clearer who will be available at pick #8 know that I am willing to move down in the first round to pick up a draft pick

How far down will depend upon the pick offered

SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D

Because most of the elite teams already have two great players, whereas most of the poorer teams don't.  It wouldn't be fair, for instance, for LA to have Kobe and Pau, plus the #30 and #31 pick.  It would give the poor teams no opportunity to catch up.
