Wait there's exercise involved in draft?!? No one told me I'd have to exercise. Darn I might have to drop out ;)

That fat comment by WW is sure to make Pierce's draft stock plummet.

my next prediction: picking directly after Lucky, my co-GM from the 2009 celticsblog draft, will mean he steals no fewer than 5 of my 10 picks. Esp given how much we agreed on players last summer. :(

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Alright, tough choice, but I figure, on this board, this guy has value that I can't make up in the later rounds via trade. Plus, there's a chance that the guy I want here tumbles 30 spots back to me...and, if not, I can always flip this guy in a trade.

I'll take our captain, and eight time All-Star, Paul Pierce.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

The lack of predraft movement is unsettling.

I also agree that salaries here are in some ways being stressed as more of a factor than I would have thought in the decision making process

In New York, my imaginary owners aren't too different than the real owners

If they will open up the pocket book for Isiah Thomas, they are going to do it for me

The only place this is going to effect anything in this exercise is if after all the rounds are done and you aren't happy with your team and you want to make trades, then you will be limited by salary cap rules

So if that's the case, make your trades in round ten before that rule kicks in, big deal

You know what would be cool to try would be a draft with a hard cap

Every player keeps their current contract, no keeping players, and there's a $70 million hard cap

Now decisions are made based on not only how good a player is but whether they fit into your salary structure

Depends on how you want to play the game. My owner will pay the tax, only for a contender though....

I'm over in chat right now, if anyone is looking to move up in the 2nd round.

I might entertain offers to move down.

A bit of a gamble, but I've got two quality bigs now and he's the best wng left on the board. He's having a tremendous year

Luol Deng.
