  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
He missed his deadline

I thought I read where Mr Hobbs said you could pick at your time if the other team missed their deadline

Yup. You're good.
I'm stunned someone missed their turn.  Good for you for pouncing.  I had Randolph as a stretch at this point but good for you.

What happens to the GSW slot now?

Bass can make his pick whenever, but whoever was after PLamb is on the clock. Doesn't look like Bass is around, he'll probably make his selection tonight.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Z-Bo? I dunno, P-lizzle....one good season does not a redemption make, right?

"one good season" might be a stretch IP --- Zach has been remarkably consistent as a 18-10 guy, he's putting it altogether and I think he probably was (perhaps even fairly) dogged by his early career knuckleheadedness.

I like the pick.

What happens to the GSW slot now?

Even in Fantasyland there is no relief for Warriors' fans.

Well, I think it's safe to say that this draft is about taking chances thus far anyway.  Of the 7 picks thus far, 5 have been risky either because of injuries or because of the motor of the player in question.  It's safe to say that you'll have to gamble a little bit in order to look good on the other side of this thing.

Lots of fun, though.  I'm glad I joined this.

Solid pick. Only 24 yrs old too.
He's 24, Love is 22, Jefferson is 25.

Deng is an excellent wing defender and like I said is having a massive year right now. Adjusted +/- has him at +17 because he's a very effective offensive and defensive player.

I like this pick. Deng was certainly near the top of my board. He has an injury history and his contract is unwieldy but there's nothing else to dislike. Better than any swing on the actual Timberwolves. And he's good in the locker room too.

Minnesota is going to be tough on the glass.
Yeah, I figured I needed a good defending wing as well as Love/Jefferson aren't the best interior help defenders!

Best player on the board having the best season of anyone left on the board at a position of need

Looked it up and Lee and Randolph started 29 games together but Lee wasn't an outside shooter back then

Shooting from 18 opens the middle for Randolph and both are amongst the best rebounders in the league

Pick 2 Knicks

PG: George Hill, Ty Lawson
SG: Ray Allen, Anthony Parker, Quentin Richardson
SF: Grant Hill, Matt Barnes, D
PF: Zach Randolph, Kenyon Martin, Jon Brockman, Dante Cunningham
C:  Nene Hilario,   Own rights: Nikola Pekovic IR: Kyle Weaver

Gasol is a much better fit to play along side Randolph though. Still solid pick.

Great talent, but he's got a reputation as a team cancer. Looks like he's finally turned it around, but he's in the Arenas/Iverson/Patterson stage of unpredictability due to headcase-itis rather than athletic decline.

This is his best year but he put up quite a few 20/10 seasons.

Yeah but a lot of those 20/10 seasons were at the price of wins for whatever team he was playing for. THis year is different because he's making the extra pass a lot more often, and even defending sometimes.

And the last All-Star available. He appears to be in the best shape of his career too, and it's not a contract year for Randolph, which leaves me more optimistic.

I'll admit I wouldn't have had the guts to make that pick.

I'll be making my selection now.

It may be a bit of a reach, but he is perhaps the last available player of the few I envisioned playing alongside Bosh.

Toronto selects Kendrick Perkins.
