Hmmm, Maybe Bowden, and a position player?

I just hope it isnt Redick, maybe Bowden/Lars which id be ok with because i like Anthony Rizzo more than Lars as a 1B prospect anyways.

JonathanMayoB3: Hearing Nick Hagadone is big part of package Red Sox are sending to Tribe for V-Mart.

I like him alot but im ok with it, he is coming off TJ surgery, is older already and a few years away from the majors.

Big lefty who throws in the mid to upper 90's and has a great slider, Indians will like him.

I am much happier if Buchholz is not a part of this deal. Plus, if he is not, that means we still have an outside, small chance at pulling off something major with the Jays if they get desperate enough at deadline. Landing Martinez and a top of line pitcher would be ideal.

Personally, I view the value of a 25 year old up and coming pitcher with potential top 2 starting stuff much greater then a 31 year old catcher/1b/dh who has probably peaked. I know I might be in the minority but I did not feel Theo would use Buchholz for this caliber of player

VERY nice, i think Masterson was overrated bigtime and Hagadone wont be up until Next Sep, at the earliest.

I'm OK with that.  Hagadone is coming off major surgery I think, and Masterson, while a nice player, is really a 3-4 starter at best, or a career setup man.

I think its nice that they were able to do the trade without Bucholtz...although I am still a bit leary of his future. Hopefully this means that the Sox really are still high on him.

Only giving up Masterson and Hagadone, means that if we wanted to we could still grab Halladay.
I wonder who is going to replace Masterson in the pen? Bowden?
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

funny, I was wondering about Masterson the other day.  It seemed weird to cultivate a top prospect to be a middle man.
Yup

Fernando Cabrera id assume.

I do think the Sox now will make one last push for Halladay, that would be a dream scenerio though lol.

He just cant get out lefties, so he is limited as a starter. And as a reliever his control isnt very good and still cant get out lefties. I think he was pretty overrated, so i dont care if he is gone.
