I speak for nobody but myself but in real life a team with Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler, and Antawn Jamison finished last in their conference. Also a team with Baron Davis, Marcus Camby, Chris Kaman, Eric Gordon, Al Thorton fishined with the same amount of wins and finished second to last in their conference.
If Garnett doesn't come back healthy and misses the majority of next season and Artest goes AWOL, both very real possibilites, then I could definitely see how someone could view Toronto on the same level as real life LAC and Washington - who finished last and second to last in their conferences. Did any NBA analysts pick Washington to finish dead last last year? Yet it still happened. Maybe DL thinks Garnett will miss a lot of time next year(he mentioned his health and he's old) and maybe DL thinks Artest will go crazy and leave the team (he mentioned how Artest is unpredictable and makes teams implode), if he factored Garnett and Artest out of the equation (both of them not being with their teams next year is not outside the realm of possibility) then I could easily see how someone could view Toronto as a last place team. Just like real life LAC or Washington.
