I think I'd rather have Danny go after Von Wafer or Marquis Daniels than Hill.

I really think Grant Hill does not want to come to the Celtics because he is terrified of playing in important games and losing.  At this point in his career he is much happier to play on a bad team, put up a few numbers and not have to kill himself all season.  I don't want Hill anymore he can go someplace else, he was never a great fit anyways.  Average defender at best, not an outside shooter, limited slasher these days because he is old.  We need young energetic legs off the bench, that can energize the team not Hill.
I don't know where you got any of this from. Seems like sour grapes that Hill is leaning towards NYC.

I hope we can get him, but I can't blame him for taking the money.

Yeah...we need more than veteran scraps to shore up our wing situation if we want to contend.

is wafer big enough to play SF?  6'5 210 seems smallish for that spot..i am hoping for a 6'7-6'8 wing

His wife is washed up. When's the last time she even had a music video? She should shut up and move to Boston, and maybe just maybe we'll let her sing the national anthem. And when Grant is on a roadtrip she can go to NYC and spend HIS money.

Hope all you want but after Hill getting a 6'5'' guy who is decent at defense is probably our next best bet.  Unless you want Barnes or Herrmann.

Let's not forget that if truly healthy, he's a young 37 because he doesn't have the miles on him that most players do because he missed the better part of 4 to 5 seasons.
What is it that Grant Hill says about this?

He has the body of a 29 year old and the ankles of a 82 year old.

I disagree with your assessment of Hill.

I'm on the Stackhouse bandwagon.  Stack and Sheed off the bench could be potent combo.  Both of them are familiar with each other as they played together for two years at UNC.

i just hope the celtics don't lose out on hill...they let baby walk and then are looking for spare parts in the NBA junkyard come august. they have to have a legit wing to back up pierce..no more talk of tony allen or walker or giddens doing the job...they just can't and are not good enough

Stacks' play last year screamed out "Done!"

Stack is done.  He was truly awful last season when he was injured and not even that good before it.  If he comes back from his injury worse than he was before (a high likelihood) then he wouldn't be worth it at all.
