He wont start for the Spurs, thats garbage.

Nene is better in the post but not defensively or rebounding

and Odom is never and will never be a consistent player in this league.  His career proves that to be true.  Course maybe it just depends on how much candy he eats.

No offense, but I dont think its close
Gilbert
        Wade
Artest>Odom
KG    >Mcdyess
Camby> Nene

Obviously we still have aw whole in the lineup but the only position thats close is Camby and Nene, and Nene has only had one good season and it took him having a great pointguard to finally produce.  Right now you dont have one

Well if we're playing this game:

Pierce > Artest > Odom
Brand  < Garnett > McDyess  but with Brand > McDyess
Rasheed > Camby > Nene

I'll admit I have the weakest backcourt, but my front court is the best (in my division, in my opinion).

Good arguments could be made for any team in the Atlantic though, all around strong division, Atlantic is looking tough.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

BDM how significant do you think the difference between Camby and Rasheed, and I have a feeling that in our matchup Camby and Brand would probably be matched up on eachother dont you agree? considering how perimeter oriented KG and Sheed are?

Sorry dude

The Spurs reportedly sought Wallace, too, but got what they were looking for in McDyess: a big and proven frontcourt presence alongside Tim Duncan. The Spurs have won four NBA championships in the Duncan era, but their star centerpiece will be 33 come next year's playoffs.

On that note, I'm off to bed  ;)

Duncan has been succesful playing the 4 most of his career.  He can play the center position but is most effective playing the 4.  I certainly hope has has to play the center position this year because it will give the celts an easier time should they meet in the finals.

Very True! :P

Honestly I think the Nets Raptors matchup would be really intersting.  Considering the Clashes between Pierce and Artest in the past coupled withe history between KG and Sheed

How do the SUns stack up in the Pacific?

I'm open to some constructive criticism. What do people think of the Bulls so far? Al Horford and Pau Gasol down low. Tayshaun at the 3 and CP3 at the point. TP's to decent reviews.
I would say that the Miami Bulls are one of the strongest teams in the east right now.  Your frontcourt is good and pretty young.  You have one of the best players in the league running the show and a solid glue guy.  My only question mark is whether Horfords height and Pau's softness can be a weakness. But I would say if thats your biggest concern your on easy street to the division title

Anyone else have an opinion?

I wanna see who you're able to get at the 2guard spot. You need someone to spread the floor for that group. Otherwise I'd be concerned that Paul will have to do so much for that team to contend.

I'm not too thrilled about being in the Atlantic, everyone is fielding a strong team.

But what are the criticisms with my team?  I like having a go to scorer and a very clutch player in Melo who is starting to really come into his own.  I know Baron is a gamble but I really think that if he is in a good situation (ie, not the Clippers) that he produce to what he is used to.  I know Bynum is young but he puts up decent numbers in the minutes he played, and Emeka is a good rebounder and defender, and a stand up guy.  I'm excited to get my SG tomorrow.

If I give you a good review, do I got some extra mod TP's?  I think your team is the best team I've ever seen.  They'd take the '92 Dream Team down in 5 I think.

But for real, you know a team with Big Al, James Harden, and Ramon Sessions isn't competing for a ring this year.

Ghostface Pryzbilla is a great Center for this team, very solid, knows his role, he will allow all the young guys to develop/get their touches while being the anchor of a good, upcoming team.  Josh Howard is solid at the SF slot, fits well here I think, just got hope the knuckle head in him doesn't come out.

So far I like, Buffalo first, Golden State second (but I could see GS overtaking Buffalo if things worked out right).  Phoenix could be 3rd.  If Big Al stays healthy (I think so), Sessions proves he's consistent starting caliber PG on a good team (I have my doubts, but we'll see), and if Harden is ready to start in the NBA (? - that's a big question mark for those keeping score at home) .  You know what you're gonna get from Howard and Pryzbilla though.

Just looking at this team, and not really looking at the rest of the West, I could see them challenging for a playoff spot, maybe getting in there at 7-8 and maybe scaring a good team in the first round.  Or maybe finish just out of the race at 9-10, could go either way I think.  Can the young guys put it all together, the team gel, and everyone stay healthy?

If I was a PHX fan I would be expecting a championship contender within 5 years (but hey I was able to convince myself the same about the C's with Big Al, Gerald, and Bassy  :P)
