So I don't want to trade for Giannis, but am I tripping. I'm reading a bunch of posts on social media acting like Herro is more valuable and worth more in a trade than Jaylen Brown? I'd love for someone to explain that to me. Even factoring in contract and age, I do not consider Herro to even be a Top-50 player in the NBA currently.

People are acting like the Heat offer is equal if not better than if the Celtics + a potential 3rd team offer Jaylen + picks. Again, I don't see it at all.
You need to follow better social media, haha.

Maybe it is just my algorithm, but I am on Twitter and these social media apps often and this is what I am seeing lol. Some of this might be ESPN propaganda to get Giannis to Miami

The Celtics have shown interest in Rudy Gobert, per @JakeLFischer

?In reference to Minnesota's interest in White, which The Athletic's Sam Amick first reported Friday morning, trading him for Rudy Gobert would represent a clear salary match. Sources say that Boston, furthermore, has inquired about Gobert before ... most recently at February's trade deadline. Now I don't think that the Wolves are actively shopping Gobert, either way, but Minnesota is said to be as exploratory and open-minded as Boston when it comes to shaking up the roster around the team's clear alpha (Edwards).?

I'd bet at the deadline it was for Simons and picks.

I would bet that no trade discussions were actually had.

If Minnesota trades away Gobert, they aren't a title contender anymore.

He is the guy that holds together their entire defense. Their interior defense falls apart whenever he is not on the floor. Randle and Naz Reid cannot replace him.

That team falls apart without Gobert.

Marc Stein on Bucks GM's demands

Quote
Several sources have conveyed that Milwaukee GM Jon Horst has established especially ambitious asking prices in Giannis talks. The word that keeps coming back: "Unrealistic."

The Bucks naturally want as much as they can if they're parting with their Face of the Franchise, so what constitutes unrealistic? Sources say Milwaukee has been asking teams for returns that would leave any club acquiring Antetokounmpo too barren to contend for a championship.
