While I am done with the JB experience, there is just no interest in him around the league. He is not valued like Brad values him and you cannot give him away.

Let's face it...we are stuck with him and he is stuck in Boston. Need to try to make this a working relationship and both sides need to realize that they are in this position for at least 2 more seasons.

Do not think there will be an extension. But it is disheartening to see Brad make a mess of this. His failure to gauge JB's real value on the open market is concerning.

They are a better team with him than just selling low. Both sides suck it up and move forward.

Focus on the needs of this team...a big and a quick guard.

So many comments that are possibly incorrect.  But I?ll agree that they are a better team with him than selling low.

If the offers aren't there for JB just bring him back and play it out. The C's will be very good next year with a full era of Tatum + whomever they get with the MLE.

If you aren't getting premium franchise changing draft assets back then taking a step back is simply not worth it.

I am definitely in the "full value or no trade" camp.

Worst case, we have an All-NBA level player on a three year contract.  It's up to our savant of a coach to make that work.

The worst case if we trade him for poor value?  We become a team not good enough to contend, and we've got no serious assets to use to reload.

This. I've been JKJB throughout this whole process. I just don't see a scenario here where the team is better next season without Jaylen on this team.   Outside Giannis (which I was against anyways), the stuff that has been floated out there the past few weeks has been horrible in terms of return.   The eagerness of some people on here to move him is pretty ridiculous too.
