Orlando 5-28 3PTA. Blow the game.

Dallas are led by their bench. J Hardy huge game. B Williams. Max Christie. They stepped up and delivered 48 points to cover their misfiring starters. 13 for AD, 12 for Klay, 7 for Dinwiddie, 6 for Naji.

Banchero had a big game for Orlando. 35, 10 and 4. But he got very little help from his teammates.

That's the issue with Orlando, outside of Banchero and Wagner there aren't many major threats on their team. They miss Mo Wagner and Suggs. I have no clue who their #3 option is on a consistent basis. And Carter is having a solid season, but that's all he really is, a solid center. Nothing more.

I'm actually starting to think we're better off playing ORL instead of CHI if it came down to it. CHI have been red hot lately and are clicking

Bulls color commentator Stacey King is completely insane.

Bulls just got an impossible win, and he just starts going "elizabeth, I'm coming! Elizabeth, I'm coming"

No idea the reference, but truly fucg hilarious

Woooowwwwww! What an absolute dynamite ending in Chicago! Giddey wins it at the buzzer with a halfcourt heave after previously helping get a 6 points in 4 seconds situation!

Josh Giddey!!!! Half-court game-winning shot!!! Lakers have lost 4 of their last 5. They may fall back down to the play-ins. They're only 2.5 games up from GSW and LAC and 3 games ahead of Minny

Orlando look cooked without Suggs.

Atlanta have cooled right off... they might be good for a game in a 7 game series.

But Chicago are clicking. Would like to avoid them in the first round.

Atlanta aren't the same team of a few months.

(1) Season ending injury to their 2nd best player in Jalen Johnson
(2) Traded away DeAndre Hunter. He was their 3rd/4th best player on the season.
(3) Traded away Bogdanovic. A key reserve that along with D Hunter and Okongwu created a bench mob that gave Atlanta an advantage over competitors on a nightly basis. One of the best benches in the league. However, now 2 of their top 3 bench pieces have been dumped after they gave up on the season following the injury to Jalen Johnson.

This isn't the same team as it was earlier in the season when they were the rolling in December / January. A shadow of it. They are not even a .500 team at this point. Probably more like a 35 win caliber team.

Weak opponent. Easy pickings in a playoff series.

--------------------

I thought Suggs was coming back for the playoffs. Nope. I was wrong. Out for the season. Bummer.

Yeah, Orlando are cooked without him. Not a playoff threat.

The fact that the Giddey shot happened right in Lebron's face made it even more satisfying.  Those last 12 seconds were absolutely bonkers.

I've watched the video at least twenty times.

From a Lebron game-winning tip shot, to a halfcourt shot in their faces 24 hours later. Hilarious.

I would not want to play Chicago first round. That team is red hot and buzzing. Much rather play Atlanta or even Orlando.

I am surprise Cleveland went back to Max Strus as a starting SF after he returned from injury. It makes them small and vulnerable defensively on the perimeter. Your backcourt is already small with D Mitchell and D Garland. You would want a SF with size. I thought they would leave Okoro there and use Strus as a backup guard.

Strus - 44 games played, 31 starts

* Record without Strus = 25 wins 4 losses (71 win pace)
* Record with Strus as bench player = 11 wins 2 losses (69 win pace)
* Record with Strus as a starter = 23 wins 8 losses (61 win pace)

I don't now that Strus in the starting lineup is responsible for this recent downturn in performances but I do believe he makes them more vulnerable matchup wise come playoff time. He is too small at SF especially alongside a backcourt that is already one of the smallest in the league. They need more size & defense at SF.

DeAndre Hunter could start at SF but I love him as a 6th man for Cleveland. That is why I would go for Okoro in a low minute starter role playing 16-24mpg. I believe that is the best way to balance their rotation.
