Just saw a trade rumor that made me feel ill.   Rob Williams to the Lakers.

It hasn't happened, but just the possibility irks me.  Would hate to see him in a Lakers uniform.

Yeah, only 3 games in December so far.  8 total points in all of December.  Makes Porzingis look like an iron man.  Two more seasons at about $13M each.  A deal would have to include something to match the salary.

It doesn?t worry me that Rob will bring a championship to LAL.  We all know he can?t stay on the court.   I just hate seeing players I liked in green play for them.

Probably Gabe Vincent or Jarred Vanderbilt. A straight swap.

Vincent playing badly for LAL. Vanderbilt not playing at all due to injury.

Worthwhile for LAL. Neither is giving the team much. Rob Williams while an injury risk would be a major talent upgrade.

Good game on NBA TV between Indy and OKC. Benedict Mathurin is a beast.

Leaders in three point makes this season

1.    Anthony Edwards - MIN    120
2.    Malik Beasley - DET          116

3.    Tyler Herro - MIA          108
   Donovan Mitchell - CLE     108
   Payton Pritchard - BOS     108

6.    Jayson Tatum - BOS         107
7.    Derrick White - BOS         103
8.    Stephen Curry - GSW       102
9.    LaMelo Ball - CHO             95
10.    Tyrese Haliburton - IND    9

Strange to see Ant at #1.

Great to see Pritchard tied at #3. Malik Beasley #2 who like Pritchard is also coming off the bench for Detroit. So two bench guys at the top of the league.

Steph all the way down at #8. Probably games missed. No Klay. No Kyrie. No Luka. No Harden.

Tatum and D White there too. 3 Celtics players in the top 10.

Chicago up 17pts with 6min to go. Atlanta go on a 16-2 run in 3 minutes to make it a 3pt game with 3 minutes to go. Make that a 19-2 run. Tie game. Trae ties it with a 3.

21-2 run. Hawks lead. 23-2 run. Back to back buckets at the rim by Jalen Johnson. Vucevic makes a 3 to stop the bleeding. Capela with a lob dunk. Hawks up 3. 90secs to go. Turnover. Another easy bucket for Jalen Johnson. 5 point game. Pat Williams answers. 3pt game.

Final minute. Hawks up 3. Trae to the FT line, hits 2. Bulls miss. Hawks milk the clock. Pass through the zone, foul on a layup attempt. 2 FTs. Tech on Chicago. 3 FTs. 8pt game 30secs remaining. Game over.

What a collapse by Chicago.

Detroit beat Sacramento by a point tonight.

Interestingly, Detroit has now moved ahead of Sacramento in the standings. Detroit is now 14 wins 17 losses. Sacramento has falled to 13 wins 18 losses.

Detroit is now back in a play-in spot after a 3 game winning streak and getting close to a .500 record. I liked their chances before the season of getting to or near a .500 record and winning a play-in spot. So things are looking up for them in regards to that.

Sacramento falling back in the race for a playoff spot. Spurs are 11th and are .500. The 8th, 9th, and 10th seeds are one win over .500. Sacramento 5 games below .500. So they have dropped back quite a bit over the racing pack. Not good for Sactown.

Dang, Luka will be reevaluated in one month for his left calf strain. He?s out indefinitely until then. That?s a brutal blow for Dallas considering the West is a bloodbath this year and seeding will really matter

Looks like they are 6-2 without Donic this year. Ball moves a lot more with Kyrie running the offense.

Kings fire Mike Brown

Bruh they fired him after he ran a full practice and spoke with the media 15 minutes prior. That's a terrible look for the organization...

Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone didn't hold back in his reaction to the news of Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown's firing, ripping the team and owner Vivek Ranadive for exhibiting "no class.

"I'm not surprised that Mike Brown got fired, because I got fired by the same person," Malone said. "And what really p---ed me off about it was the fact that they lost [Thursday] night, fifth game in a row, I believe. Tough loss. ... They had practiced this morning. He does his postgame media, and he's in his car going to the airport to fly to L.A. and they call him on the phone.

"No class, no balls. That's what I'll say about that."

Memphis looks really good and their roster is talented and deep. Health of course is the big key but if they can stay mostly healthy I think they are the 2 seed in the West
