Bobby Marks, mouthpiece of the Sixers, reporting that no one is willing to trade for Lavine, even if the Bulls attach a first round pick to offload him.

Lavine is clearly plan B if George doesn't work out, and Morey is trying to drive down his value.

Bulls should?ve unloaded Lavine years ago. Empty calorie player.

That organization held up to their chips too long for mediocrity and paying the price.

What does Lavine even do besides dunk and stay hurt?

Back in the day he could shoot, handle and pass.  He can still do all of that to some extent, but I question his ability to play winning basketball.

I may be the last guy with real estate on Lavine island. Go through the roster construction of each team he has played with, as well as the coaching, and you start to come up with a pretty easy narrative about him. For example, think about the floor spacing he's "enjoyed" with Vucevic, Williams, and Derozan in the starting lineup these last few years.

He basically mirrored Booker's production and numbers early in their careers, until the Suns got great players around Booker.

He's an elite shot-maker. He can put pressure on the rim, finish, and draw fouls. He can hit tough outside shots, hit spot-up jumpers, and score outside off the bounce. He sets teammates up pretty well, and even cuts pretty well off-ball. His defense is meh, but that's pretty par for the course for a player of his offensive abilities on a fringe playoff team.

He really is an excellent buy-low candidate. I think he could be a 2nd or 3rd scoring option on a contender. I think he'd be an awesome fit next to Curry and Draymond, but that deal is pretty complicated. The Nuggets, Kings, Lakers, Heat, and Sixers all may be good places for him.

I think if a team like the Sixers strikes out on other top targets, they have to consider Lavine. They have cap space and failing to put talent around Embiid while he's in his prime will cost them any chance they have of contending in the foreseeable future. A guy like Embiid likely doesn't have many good seasons left either. Same for Miami if they lose key guys and don't land someone else. If Butler stays, he's not getting any younger.

Oh boy. Can?t wait for sixers fans to turn on Paul George when he pulls his usual disappearing act in the playoffs.

Klay Thompson was found saying goodbye to Warriors staff, signaling the end of his era with Golden State?

Tho early reports state one of the likeliest landing spots for Klay will be uniting with LeBron in LA.  :-X

Keep him out west. Lakers aren?t going to do anything out there anyway.

Meh. Bring him east. Not really worried that much about Kevin Heurter-lite.

I want the heat to stand still and think they are good enough in the east.

Klay will need to decide if he wants to win another chip or maximize his salary.

Bc he ain?t gonna be able to do both.

Sixers are trying to add PG13 and KCP. Have to say, if they can pull that off then they become another threat to Boston IMO along with New York (granted I'd still favor Boston and PHI/NYK have a lot of injury prone players too).
