Wow, Max Christie 4yrs $32mil.

A Pritchard type deal. I am surprised. Max Christie is a decent young player with potential as a two way role player but he still isn't reliable enough to be a rotation player. Overpaying for a 3rd stringer with potential.

KCP to Orlando.
$22mil per year. Seems fair.

I would have pegged him at $20mil per.

Do they still have money for PG?

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan

Obi Toppin 4yrs $60mil.

That is the type of mone I expect Hauser to get next summer. $15mil a year for an above average bench player. Interesting marker.

Boy?.Denver might be a one and done contender

Still have to sign Murray and Gordon

Bench regressed last year and they lost Jackson and KCP

I don't think so.

I thought they only had enough money for 1 guy.

Let's see they had $104mil locked up. Cap $143 $140.6mil. Then they let Mo Wagner and Joe Ingles go to get down to only $85mil. Let's say $20mil for KCP with increases each year so back to $105mil. Maybe $35mil left in cap space.

They'd probably have to clear another $10-15mil in salaries to make a play for PG13. Doable.

Their hands were tied losing Bruce Brown - they legit couldn't sign him, but I don't understand what they're doing with the rest of that roster.

Saying Dallas, San Antonio and Detroit are all interested in Tobias Harris. That is a strange mix of teams for an old veteran player. You would expect title contenders. Okay, Dallas. But two rebuilding teams in San Antonio and Detroit? Strange.

I actually like San Antonio for Tobias. They need a big forward and he could give them some proper balance. Sochan has yet to prove he can be a net positive on the court. His offense is so bad that it hurts them more than his defense helps them. Tobias Harris would be a good upgrade. And if Sochan develops, T Harris could move into a 6h man role as a bench scoring forward. Their version of Toni Kukoc.

G: Stephon Castle, Tre Jones
G: Devin Vassell
F: Keldon Johnson
F: Tobias Harris, Sochan
C: Wemby, Z Collins

Fun looking team.

Not as active as recent years. I'm guessing the Klay and PG13 moves will be the domino effect. Once any or both sign, a ton more will follow.

Never mind! CP3 signing with the Spurs. I actually think that's an awesome signing for all parties. An experienced veteran PG for the Spurs, Pop + Wemby, and CP3 can certainly help his legacy if he helps the Spurs show more growth and reach the playoffs.

Also, LAC basically announced George is leaving for good. He feels Philly bound IMO

I understand the thinking for San Antonio and why it helps them but I don't understand it for CP3. Why not join a contender? Is he going to earn much more there? Is his role going to be that much larger?

He is probably only a 25mpg player anyway. Not much difference between that and a large bench role on a title contender. I'd rather play for the title contender.

Eric Gordon to Philly.

The Clippers refused to modify their offer to PG, meaning he's leaving.  Philly is the only suitor left.

I imagine that is the end of Buddy Hield in Philly. I wonder where he will go. He could be a difference maker for someone.
