I think we?ll see Justin Holiday join for the Brissett role.  Can play a couple of wing positions at replacement level, and generally has been known as a good locker room guy.  He took the minimum last season to join Denver, so why not the same to join Boston and team up with Jrue?  He?d be a good floor in case Walsh or whomever we draft this year isn?t ready to step into a bigger role.

Should we panic if Paul George joins the Knicks?

And sign Aaron to complete the reunion.

Should we panic if Paul George joins the Knicks?

I'd be worried if he joined any of NY, MIA or PHI.

I've seen some rumors that Golden State could covet him. They are a West team but that'd really make that conference even more interesting. GSW probably is losing Klay but what if they add George to go along with Curry, Draymond and the others.

Yeah. PG13 is 34 years old and hasn't done anything for years now. He's lost a step and is not with the money he will demand. We've seen repeatedly in the NBA that a mishmash collection of stars who have passed their prime does not win in the playoffs.

Seriously.  Philly will eat him alive and there is no way he?s making it healthy to the playoffs with Thibs coaching him in NY.  He can come East if he wants; he won?t be money well-spent wherever he lands.

Sounds like it'll be like a Westbrook post-Wizards where he gradually becomes watered down

Doubt he signs there but definitely would help Orlando. He may help warriors if they could somehow pull off Klay and moody or hunter

I would like holiday on the minimum but it would probably upset Pritchard and holiday could get more minutes on a different team (including Denver)

Justin played a pretty decent amount of shooting guard time here In Denver. Think if holiday played well he is more of a threat to steal minutes from as the 4th wing versus 4th guard. Pretty irrelevant regardless so just hoping we get some real news to debate soon

Holiday has played a lot at the four in his career too.  He even got some run as a small five for a season or two.  He?s not taking Pritchard?s minutes in any case ? he?s not as good. But he?s useful in that he?s versatile, and the Celtics will be running with 14 on the roster again next year, with one or two of those 14 developmental guys.  So there are plenty of minutes available in the 85% of games one of the top 8 is out.

It?s boring, but unless we make a trade, the Justin Holiday?s of the world are going to be our major offseason acquisition.  No fireworks are needed or expected this year, and that?s a good thing.

Someone will overpay Klay as I think the Warriors know he?s not the same player he once was?George staying at LA is my guess..Doubt anyone will offer big money to Harden, so I see him staying at LA..DeRozan will stay at Chicago..76ers are team to watch as both Harris & Hield are FAs, they may try get DeRozan
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

i'd be completely happy adding justin holiday in that role. he'd be an upgrade over brissett, quite frankly. i just didn't realize it was even a possibility.
