Well, that answers that.  :)

Jared Weiss: Al Horford said he doesn?t know how long his career will last past next season, but he said, ?I feel good, I want to keep it going. pic.twitter.com/npKeJqeOOJ  ? via Twitter JaredWeissNBA

I hope they promote Sam to lead assistant soon. I don?t want him going to LA with Reddick.

Oshae just declined his option. He?ll now be an unrestricted free agent. Can?t blame him but I hope he still ends up with the Cs.

I think the C's move on and go with Walsh in that role.  He'll need to improve his shot, but defensively he should be able to fit right in.  These3 were his measurables at the combine last year:  "6′ 5.75? barefoot, 8′ 11.00? standing reach, 204.0 lbs., 7′ 1.75? wingspan, and a 36-inch maximum vertical."

Agree. I think Wlash needs to take the steps this summer to play more when needed. I think the Cs might use Brissett's spot for another need.

Will be interesting if Kornet walks. They would then def. need one but probably 2 bigs to spell Al and KP

Kornet at least got to play. Brissett did have much role. Understandable he would want to look for a bigger role.

I'm definitely not sad Brissett is likely gone.  I want to see Jordan Walsh in that energy role.  He can't be any worse of a shooter then OB.  We know he's known for Hustle, Energy and Defense.  He's a perfect fill in for that role.

Now for OB's roster spot.  I'm sure there will be a ring chasing vet that is as good or better then OB.

The same with Kornet.  I'd like to see Queta in that role.  Hopefully he's developed enough to take those minutes.  He's the more talented between him and Kornet but needs to improve his positioning on D.

So looking at the Cs roster these guys are locked in:

JB
JT
White
Al
KP
Jrue
PP
Walsh
Springer

Up in the air:
Hauser
Kornet
Tillman
Probably gone:
Brissett

Doesn?t Sam have a team option for next season?

Hauser isn?t up in the air.  He technically has a team option, but the only way they don?t pick that up is if they have a longer deal worked out and so they decline his option to re-sign him with Bird rights.  He?s not walking.

Correct. But there was some scuttle that they might have to get creative with his contract long term

Why can't Queta fill that role?

He's lost on defense and provides no spacing.  He has natural talent, but he's not a great scheme fit.
