Celtics owner and governor Wyc Grousbeck joined The Greg Hill Show Tuesday morning after Boston captured its 18th NBA title and said that Horford is planning to return for an 18th season, and his seventh in Boston. Listen to the full interview above. ?Al is coming back for next year,? Grousbeck said. ?That?s what I?ve been told.?  ? via Audacy

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Dwight Howard
@DwightHoward
I had a teammate that won with the lakers & Celtics that told me that?s it?s nothing like winning a championship 🏆in Boston and Now Al just said the same thing 👀 I want to know what?s the difference lol

I?m sure he?d love to, but he?s not good enough to play in the NBA anymore. Also, Brad has shown Time and time again, that he avoids players that have character issues.

Not interested. He's talking about Rondo, right?

To me he makes sense as the Kawhi replacement, but rumor is the Olympic committee has more interest in White.

Good to hear he had good memories of the championship. I loved watching him play.

Jaylen Brown on Celtics repeat: I think we have an opportunity

?I think we have an opportunity. I think we definitely have a window,? Jaylen Brown said on repeating. ?We take it one day at a time. We definitely have to make sure we stay healthy. But, you know, we?ll enjoy the summer, enjoy the moment, and then we get right back to it next year.?  ? via Boston Globe

I'd be surprised if he doesn't but there's always the option of betting on himself on the open market. However were I in his shoes, I'd look at what's happening this summer. Porzingis surgery, Tatum with the Olympic team - and of course the club's deep playoff run - there's probably going to be some opportunity to get significant minutes the first part of the season.

Oshae just declined his option. He?ll now be an unrestricted free agent. Can?t blame him but I hope he still ends up with the Cs.
