Lakers righting the ship again after downing the Hornets tonight? Won 3 in a row.

DLo has been on a tear eversince trade rumors began to buzz. It would be interesting to see what the Lakers do at the deadline.

with games coming up against the suns/timberwolves its possible milwaukee could fall to #4 or #5

Of all the teams without an all timer/mega star, the Cavs are the team that most concerns me.  Mitchell has a history of upping his game in the playoffs and even if he doesn't have it they still have Garland as a lead scorer. Plus Allen and Mobley form an incredible defensive front, while providing efficient tertiary type scoring (and Mobley has 2nd scorer potential).  They also have a pretty deep bench with guys that can win a game for them on occasion.  LeVert, in particular, can go for 25 on any given night.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid underwent a left meniscus procedure on Tuesday and will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks.

You mean like in the first round versus the Knicks last year?

Knicks actually also were missing og too. Needing 39 minutes from Lebron and 37 from Davis to eek out a 6 point win against a hornets team starting ish smith and leaky black it actually rather embarrassing (obviously we have our share of embarrassing wins and losses too). But I swear there are a few posters desperate to overrate the lakers. If they win against a healthy Denver team Thursday that will actually be impressive. But they are 2 games over .500 with 30 games left and just lost Vanderbilt. They have also had a great health year from davis and Lebron. Them suddenly figuring it out without a trade or firing the coach would be pretty weird.

no I mean like 18, 19, 20, 21.  A history of, doesn't mean every single time.

I think that’s what Rob Will. Could never really get over …injury can’t take the nba stress without extended rest or limited use.

No idea why the Bucks would do this.

NBACentral
@TheDunkCentral
The Dallas Mavericks and Milwaukee Bucks have discussed a Grant Williams-Bobby Portis swap, per  ;D
@TheSteinLine

“The Bucks and Mavericks, league sources say, have held exploratory discussions on a trade that would swap Milwaukee's Bobby Portis Jr. and Dallas newcomer Grant Williams.”

Poor Bobby. Didn’t he take less money in order to stay with the Bucks?

Wow ..bucks in panic mode. First Doc  ;D, now GW  :P

I don’t get this at all. I see Portis as a better player than Grant Williams.  It would be a great trade for Dallas. It makes no sense for Milwaukee at all in my mind.

I agree .  :)

Oddly enough, the teams I fear in the East right now are Cleveland, New York and Miami

Not Milwaukee or Philadelphia* anymore (* - assuming Embiid is out the rest of the season)

Never thought I'd say that earlier in the year, felt it was always PHI/MIA/MIL. Yes Indiana will also be a tricky team but I still want to see how they do in the playoffs when the game slows down. Not everyone on that team has much playoff experience either.

If the C's can maintain the 1 seed then that's good for them. CLE/NYK/MIA/PHI/MIL can sort of cannibalize each other in the middle and hopefully we only have to play 1 or 2 of those teams until the Finals. Just got to hope it's not some dreaded path like Miami, then MIL/PHI, then CLE/NY or something like that which would be daunting. Hope for an easy first round and manageable 2nd round.

At this point in LeBron's career, the regular season is simply a means to an end, and that being just making the playoffs.
