LaVine and his representation hold several preferred landing spots, such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers, league sources told Yahoo Sports, and each team has registered some level of interest in the Bulls guard. LaVine also has an eye on joining the San Antonio Spurs, sources said, in order to pair with rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama and reunite with head coach Gregg Popovich, who oversaw the 2020 Team USA outfit that LaVine helped win a gold medal in Tokyo.  – via Jake Fischer @ Yahoo! Sports
Him on San Antonio would be interesting.

I feel like mentioning these other spots that aren't realistic is just an attempt by Klutch to make it seem like Lavine isn't trying to pull a Lillard. They can claim "Zach's open to all these places, he's not trying to maneuver to the obvious big market teams where we also have other clients (LAKERS LAKERS LAKERS)!"
All those teams are realistic.  LaVine doesn't have the sort of value that would price them out.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I can see the Spurs going for it. Pop ain't getting any younger.

They have some good young players.  I'd like to see him on the spurs with wimby

Be a mistake for Spurs to go with LaVine

I agree. He doesn’t play much defense and will be 29 in March.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I don't get it.  Did he request a trade?

Doesn’t sound like Lavine has demanded to be traded, but it is being reported that he is open to being moved.

the age wasn't my issue but the no defense was and I don't think offensively he'd fit well either.  Spurs should really tank again, but assuming they aren't, they should wait and see who may come available that isn't LaVine

He doesn’t fit their timeline and it looks like the Spurs are (unintentionally?) tanking anyway. They now have the worst record in the West. SA should follow the Thunders formula and just keep developing the young guys. Webanyama, Vasell, and Johnson are good, young talent.

Speaking of OKC, looks like they finally told Chet to get after it offensively. In tonight’s win over the Warriors he had 36pts, 10rebs, 5ast, 2blks, 2stls. Shot 14-22 from the field and 2-5 from 3pt. Shooting splits are 53/44/91 on the season.

What’s happening to the NBA? I mean a guy can’t promote his own brand? How is this different from guys like Lebron, JT, KD etc who have their logos displayed on their shoes? If I remember right, Jaylen also had his 7uice logo displayed on some of his custom shoes.

In the article you linked, it says the CBA prohibits players wearing logos on their skin or in their hair. That’s different from your shoes, which are governed by other agreements (uniform rules, I assume).

I can see why this is the rule, but I’m inclined to agree with you about the relative importance of it.

More importantly, Chet is a buzzer beating 3 to send the game into overtime, an incredible ice cold shot. Chet is the real deal, that OKC team is comparable to what they had back in 2011.

Presti can draft

Very true. Now, can he manage to keep the core together and build a supporting cast around them to take the next step this time?

Can Boston afford to get Isaiah Stewart? He could be a nice fit for the Celtics.
