This is a great game. Oubre is killing it off the bench… Maxey is fun to watch as well.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Literally letting Giannis catch his own airballs now right in front of the ref leading to Dame three pointers  ::)

  • Everybody knows what's best for you
Refs did not want Philly to get the win tonight. Yikes on so many calls down the stretch.

Refs have been awful.

Sixers should cut their losses at this point and just do the Powell, Morris, draft pick trade that the Clippers offered.  Powell and Morris would actually be solid depth additions for the Sixers.

PG - Maxey, Beverley
SG - Powell, Melton, Springer
SF - Harris, Oubre, House
PF - Tucker, Morris, Green
C - Embiid, Reed, Bamba

Obviously Powell + Morris aren't as good as an engaged Harden, but they aren't getting that, so they should just cut bait and pick up some depth help.  If Maxey emerges as a true #2, they might actually end up better with that team anyway

Philly are better off keeping Harden, letting his contract expire and hitting the FA market next summer with huge flexability than taking back long term deals for average talent like Norm Powell.

Took a near 40 piece at home from Dame to beat a Harden-less Sixers team with no perimeter defenders.

That won't be happening against our backcourt.

How many times does Dame have to burn Oubre before Nurse puts someone else on him?  ???
Bad challenge to boot.

Embiid is a black hole on offense. This is the elephant in the room that will prevent them from ever winning anything of consequence.

They also played idiotic defense down the stretch. Oubre in particular was abysmal at that end. They always look so discombobulated. It is ridiculous. I don't know how their fans put up with it.

What? No Booker? No Beal?

That is a bummer.

I really don’t think swapping Holiday for Lillard moved the needle much. Bucks Defense isn’t going to be nearly as good. Middleton isn’t getting any shots either. He finished with 5 attempts.

I'd like to see LAL play C Wood alongside A Davis. I'd like to see how those two guys work together.

Nurkic has been pretty good for Phoenix so far. He's looked a lot better than Ayton to start.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Yeah, not sure what his deal is now. Only played 16 minutes, too. He still on a minutes restriction? Not great if so for just starting the season.

Maybe, but if they don't land a major free agent, then they will lose Embiid.  Powell at least gives them a good contract for trading.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Bit ominous lakers are losing at the half at home to the suns without Booker or Beal. I don’t think they are gonna be able to keep this minutes restrictions on Lebron and win many games in the loaded west.
