LeBron is ridiculous. 40pts last night. About to turn 39 years old in a few days time.

He is averaging 25.2ppg 7.7rpg 7.3apg.
He is shooting 54% FG% 39% 3PT% 64% TS%

The man is unbelievable.

Yeah it's crazy. Different sports but it's also like Tom Brady and David Ortiz. Those two were some of the best in their sports and super clutch and they were elite even to the end of their careers. Lebron can probably go another 2-3 years at this rate barring some major injuries along the way

Lebron, Ortiz, Brady...  I'm guessing all three have something in common.  🧪💊💉

Brady doesn’t look or seem like someone who took steroids. He was very average from a physical standpoint throughout his career. Never had a big arm, never had good mobility. He just needed his arm to hold up, which it did. Lebron being able to run with guys that are nearly half his age is a bit different, IMO.

How do PED users "seem"?  Hanging around nutjob trainers while being better at 37 than 27?

Have you heard of the TB12 diet? The guy won’t even drink a cup of coffee.. Doesn’t strike me as someone who is going to be taking steroids. Was his arm strength or running ability better at 37 than 27? I doubt it. Decision making probably was though. Should check out Tom vs Time.
or maybe Brady's arm held up because of the PED's? There are lots of uses for PED's. They do all sorts of things. All those things you say about Brady's diet are the same for Lebron. Lebron has bicycled to games in his career to warm up. Lebron just looks bigger so he must be on something, but Brady is not. I just find that argument to be nonsense.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal
Wings -  Lebron James

Yeah, his association with Alex Guerrero should make everyone aware Brady would take pretty much anything to be better at football. Thinking that doesn’t extend to steroids is pretty silly.

As for how he looks - Hedo got caught with steroids. You wouldn’t clock him as “looking like a ‘roids guy”

Podziemski with a nice 13pts 9reb 6ast 5stl stat line.

He ranks 5th in rebounding among rookies and 2nd in assists. 46% FG% 39% 3PT%. 5.3rpg in only 22mpg for a short SG. Interesting player.

Today has answered an important philosophical question for me. Could I watch 12 straight hours of basketball. And the answer turns out to be a resounding yes. C's win propelled me through these last two games. Heat/Philly actually ended up being pretty entertaining. If not for an epically bad shooting night from Maxey they probably pull that out. Watching this Mav's game, 3 big takeaways: Luca is a stone-cold killer, Suns look lazy and sloppy, Grant W. still complains well beyond the point any ref wants to hear him. I definitely don't miss that part of his game.

Yep I saw that along with his altercation with Booker, he might be auditioning to be the next Draymond  :police:

Phoenix are the most disappointing team in NBA right now..they are 14-15…I know injuries have hurt them some but still disappointing
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark

Another disfunctional Durant team.  He has no leadership qualities at all.

Kevin "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" Durant? You must be joking.

Grant Williams came off the bench last night. I like this mix better for Dallas. I always believed Luka needed an athletic forward next to him rather than a slow footed one. Luka is too unathletic.

The Mavs have had issues with this for years with Maxi Kleber when he and Luka play together. Their combined lack of foot-speed on defense. And played so much better with an athletic defensive forward in Finney Smith. Finney Smith is a good player but he had an outsized positive impact in Dallas because they were that desperate for some real athleticism at forward alongside Luka.

So last night against PHX, the Mavs started Derrick Jones Jr at forward next to Luka along with two big guards in Exum & Tim Hardaway Jr. I like that mix a lot for Dallas. Lively at center as well.

Exum has quietly been having a nice year for Dallas. Always enjoy seeing guys do well on a comeback tour. Good to see.
