Looks that way to me too. But still has some room to grow as a player - still just 24.  Brad had an amazing off-season.

Watching the Knicks/Bucks game. A few takeaways:

Bucks definitely hitting their stride
I'll still take my chances against them, though would love to add another depth piece for injury insurance
Knicks are awful. This team would be the Pistons without Jaylen Brunson. He is unreal. Especially at that size
Mike Breen is great, but they keep talking about how unstoppable the Bucks are without really acknowledging the Knicks just aren't playing any D.

The other day I mentioned a surprising stat that Kawhi hasn't missed a single game this season.

Looks like he is out today against the Celtics due to a hip injury. Hmmm

I also think Middleton has looked a lot better in the past month, averaging around 29-30 minutes a game and shooting pretty well. That's been big for them. They do need another guy to step up alongside Giannis and Lillard. Their issue was Middleton was just oft-hurt and is still dealing with a lingering injury so they didn't really have a good #3 option for a while since 2021.

That said, I still think Milwaukee's defense is poor, and Lopez isn't really a good matchup against Boston.

It's just annoying that a lot of these guys on the Knicks like Quickley will shoot like Ray Allen against us, but against everyone else they are just predictably average

Injury to Robinson hurts the Knicks' big depth.  Also the Knicks match up badly vs the Bucks. And yes the Bucks are playing with a swagger, which they no doubt will bring when the play the Knicks again on Christmas.

Colin Sexton has been on fire since taking over the starting PG role for Utah. I wonder what Will Hardy does now that Clarkson is back.

I don't watch many Pelicans games, but I'm watching some of this Rockets-Pelicans and is it just me or does Zion look massive?? Like even more than usual. He's also sluggishly walking up the court at times. Tough to watch. He could be such a freak athlete if he just stayed in much better shape

Zion doesn’t seem to care.

I never understood the Zion hype, which described him as the best prospect since Lebron.  The guy is basically Glen Davis with insane hops.  I just didn't see how that body type could hold up over time.

I didn't think he'd break down as early as he did, though.

Coming out of university the relative consensus was that his ceiling could be something like a more athletic Charles Barkley, which is certainly hype-worthy.

But we can all remember when Andrew Wiggins was ‘the best prospect since LeBron’, so I get what you mean.

Zion is an excellent passer as well.  He just can't stop eating.

Yeah the Lebron comparisons were insane. But I also didn't think he'd break down this early. Sadly, it also seems like an effort/interest thing. Pelicans organization and staff can only do so much. Or maybe Zion is orchestrating a way out via trade but even then, he's still risking a lot and getting hurt so I'm not sure he'll even have a long career to begin with. Kind of like Ben Simmons, who got paid but then basically stopped caring entirely.

Who was the Detroit player who gave up playing basketball because he preferred smoking weed?

No idea, but I do remember Larry Sanders was someone who seemed to struggle with drug use among other things. Only had a 5-year career before he left the NBA. Was sad, the guy had so much promise and potential. He made a brief comeback but that barely lasted. For a time I wanted the C's to give him a chance
