Jets up 14-0 near end of 3rd. C'mon Jets!!

Jets win does help make some distance. Too bad the Panthers got thrashed.

Bears and Jets are winning, both 4 win teams.  Both are helpful.

Yeah the Bears too. Too bad AZ and WSH are on bye this week.

It should come down to the Jets game for the possibility of the #2 pick.  I hate rooting for losses, but realistically, Pats at home v. KC, then at Denver, and at Buffalo... all will have motivation to win and all should beat NE.  Then it's the Jets at home...

Another advantage of the Bears playing well + winning, maybe it makes them feel better about Fields growing and so they don't take a QB with their first round pick. Chess, not checkers  8)

It's kinda weird to witness, but the Chiefs do not look like the Chiefs. Getting manhandled for a 2nd straight week now especially on defense.

They're going one and done this playoffs. They look like 2019 Pats. I'm worried the Pats might pull the upset on KC next week.

If they aren't going to take a QB with the #1 pick, the smart move is to trade it to a team who does want to take a QB with the #1 pick.

So many possibilities.  There's MHJ in the mix, but also the possibility of getting a big return on a trade.  If Pats end up #3 (or whoever is #3), I could see the Bears trading down to get MHJ plus whatever else Pats send their way.

[/quote As I said awhile back, KC will not win another Super Bowl with Mahomes there, but not because of him thou

So many teams at 4 wins now, including Titans, Giants and Commanders, none of whom look like they will win another game. Don't know how the strength of schedule/tiebreakers work but, like you said, that last game against the Jets at home could be franchise altering depending on which way it goes.

Yeah, in which case IF the Pats are really high on Caleb, they can probably have the most to offer since they also have the #2 pick to begin with in all likelihood. I'm not so sold Arizona will take a QB, they may covet MHJ more. Maybe them and the Bears bid for him in this instance

Wouldn't surprise me if they go one-and-done, especially if they actually draw someone like Buffalo in the wild card round. Remember, this Chiefs team has actually lost a lot of home playoff games in the past even before Mahomes with Andy Reid, and also 2021 which felt like a given they'd win. And now they would also be tasked with probably needing not one, but two road wins to reach the SB if Baltimore + Miami stay ahead of them

I can see them beating Miami, but against Baltimore and Buffalo? No way. If they somehow get in with the Broncos and they're matched together, I'm giving the edge to Denver as well.

Jake Browning is pretty good. Maybe they might trade Joe Burrows after all and keep Jake hehehe

Agreed. Bengals don't need Burrow. Send him to NE for the #2 pick and grab MHJ to help Browning
