Toney was lined up offsides and it was blatant.

I really don't see the controversy.  Chiefs crying over spilled milk.

Yep.  Imagine if the refs hadn’t thrown the flag.  Undoubtedly all the talk would be how they missed an obvious offsides call.  I like blaming the refs as much or even more than the next guy, but he was offsides, they threw the flag at the outset of the play, and then unfortunately a really cool play didn’t count.  There’s really no controversy this time.

Right, the flag came out instantly.  The call was made at the snap.  What happened after is irrelevant.  Would they be complaining if it was an incomplete pass?  KC had chances to tie or win the game, and didn't.  Buffalo kind of botched their clock management and allowed KC plenty of time and 2 TOs.  Allen also missed a wide open receiver on one play.  Neither team looked like championship material to me.

Yeah it was blatant and obvious.  If Toney can't look down, shame on him.  And he was so far over the line, all he had to do was look down. It wasn't like his big toe just barely was offside. It was at least a foot. Super obvious and clear.

Reid and Mahomes sound pathetic with their comments postgame last night. So what, because the play was cool they should have just picked up the flag? BS. The Chiefs benefit from the refs often, such as last year's SB, or the AFCCG late with the "roughness" on Mahomes, and then first game this season with their tackle literally committing a false start every snap and not getting called.

The NFL absolutely has a reffing problem this season, but using that offsides last night is such a horrible example because it was 100% the correct call. And the way Mahomes reacted postgame just sounds like that of a whiner. Look at his postgame comments to Josh Allen too, not a good look no matter how you slice it.

The only time I remember Brady and Belichick doing similar were after the 2013 Panthers game with the missed "Gronk DPI", and the game against the Ravens with the FG which looked like a miss over the post but the refs ruled it a FG to win it for BAL. Those weren't "obvious" and still, I don't recall it being as bad as how Andy Reid and Mahomes portrayed it last night.

Ah I remember Brady jogging down the field with the ref demanding an explanation why the flag got picked up against Carolina. And Bill touching the replacement ref for that Tucker FG. Btw, Tucker missed that FG...should've been an NE win at Baltimore.

But yup, Mahomes and Reid went bananas on their post game comments and live reaction.

Toney has been a repeated disappointment for KC. I think Mahomes was also bashing on him indirectly. Refs make a lot of questionable calls, but this was the right one. No need to lose any sleep here for them. I side with the refs here so deuces Mahomes lolol.

Unrelated to this incident but I also remember Dee Ford lined up offsides when we played them in that AFCCG. Brady knew so he had a free play. Love how Chiefs fans whine about these type of calls.

I think it’s a pretty uncommon call - neutral zone infraction on the offense. But it was obvious. I wonder if that should be a whistle prior to snap after the offense is set. Had Toney noticed and tried to step back after O was set, it would have been a false start - and play would have been blown dead.  I say this only because had the call been made prior to snap or simultaneous with snap, there wouldn’t have been a pass/lateral/TD to negate.

Not only that, but did you hear what Mahomes said to Josh Allen postgame when they met up?

If not, look it up, but yeah, that's also extremely pathetic on Mahomes' part. No way to defend it.

Both games at the half are 10-7.

Bettors are crazy if they took MIA -14. Smart money goes to TEN, who are up 10 right now.

Yeah I kinda feel bad for Josh Allen. He looked confused when he shook Mahomes' hand. Allen has been apart of a lot of heartbreaking losses and dealt with a lot of heartbreaking times involving his team. Mahomes really had no excuse for that action.

Mahomes looked like a scum. The internet doesn't lie, it'll follow him forever. I don't see Brady throwing any kind of meltdown or poor sport as egregious as Patrick. Maybe a little bit when he got into it with Bo'B on the sidelines, but that was de-escalated quick and reconciled.

amazing collapse from Titans.  muffed punt and then terrible pitch on consecutive possessions.  2 easy TD's for Dolphins.

And then they drive the field and score and get 2, so Titans down 6 with all 3 timeouts so they kicked it deep.

Almost simultaneously the Giants kick a FG to beat the Packers as time expires.

TITANS WIN. Amazing.

My Ravens all alone in the AFC.  And now they can lose one of the next 2 at Jacksonville or at San Fran and still end up as the 1 seed if they beat Miami in week 17 and then close out by beating the Steelers.
