That was a brutal trick play by Cincy. That was one of the ugliest picks I've seen, including high school.

Jake Browning is playing really well on the whole.  Entertaining game.

Lawrence down.  Looks like an ankle injury.  Yikes.

Sucks hopefully not serious.  Also sucks for me if he is out the rest of the game, as I need a few more rushing yards from him, to hit my +2600 parlay.

Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott said Thursday he regretted mentioning 9/11 in a 2019 training camp talk with his team and "immediately apologized" to his players.

McDermott emphasized Thursday he made the comments "to discuss the importance of communication and being on the same page with the team." He said he "regretted mentioning 9/11 in my message that day and I immediately apologized to the team. Not only was 9/11 a horrific event in our country's history, but a day that I lost a good family friend."

As first reported by Go Long, McDermott told players in a speech to model coming together in a manner similar to the terrorists on 9/11, asking players in the room questions about how the attacks were executed and referencing the hijackers getting on the same page. Multiple players who were with the team at the time confirmed the story to the ESPN, while others who were on the team at the time told ESPN they did not recall it.

That's the best example of "coming together as a team"?  The 9/11 terrorists?

Yeah, what a horrible lapse of judgment. I would never think about equating 9/11 and team success. Vocalizing such thoughts is even more egregious. Ugh.

Also, why is Von Miller still on the team?

All the QB injuries and the increase in the number of "bad teams" in the NFL this season have really compromised the product IMO. I mean, Bills-Chiefs and Eagles-Cowboys. Outside of those two games what other game actually looks interesting and makes you want to watch even as a neutral fan? Most of the rest of the games are all mediocre or bad. That's frankly been the case for a good chunk of this season too, every week there's only 1-2 games worth watching that doesn't include any your favorite team play.

It's the Tom Brady effect. After he retired, the product went down completely. While he was still playing, teams were circling and marking on their calendars wanting to destroy him.

That and all the injuries have ruined the product. And bad officiating.

the Rams and Ravens are both .500 or better (the Rams are losing tiebreakers or would be a playoff team).  Coslts and Bengals have backup QB's but are both in playoff contention.  Seahawks and Niners both .500 and in playoff contention.  The Browns and Jags both in the playoffs (and Lawrence is playing).

Lots of pretty good games today

Jets win does help make some distance. Too bad the Panthers got thrashed.

Bears and Jets are winning, both 4 win teams.  Both are helpful.

Baltimore is now winning the kind of games they wouldn't in the past. Wouldn't surprise me if the Miami vs. Baltimore game Week 17 is officially for the 1 seed in the AFC.

It's kinda weird to witness, but the Chiefs do not look like the Chiefs. Getting manhandled for a 2nd straight week now especially on defense.
