The 3 point shot has made it unlikely that someone will do 20 ppg, 10 apg and 50% shooting overall.  I mean Lebron was only at 49.3% overall when he had his 10+ assist season, though Lebron was at 56.4% from 2.  When Johnson did that he shot less than one 3 a game.

Yep. Tony Parker was probably the last small guard to score 20ppg on 50% FG%. Probably won't see that again. At least not often. A rarity. Although Nash did have a 50-40-90 season but not the scoring volume.

More a statistic of it's era. Say the 1960-2010 period. Only two guys did it. Magic and KJ.

Oscar nearby too. If you just take his Cinncinati years where he was the main man, he went for 25.7ppg 9.5apg 49% FG%. That was a 10 year period. Scoring efficiency was lower in that era as well. Even more impressive.

Speaking of weird quirks, do we assume the shooters from the 90’s (a low efficiency era) would have improved their shooting with the modern game? Less emphasis on the contested long two, etc.

I look at their efficiency relative to their era and assume it will be similar in today's league. So if you are a high efficiency guy in the 80s I will assume you are a high efficiency guy in the 2020s unless there is some arguement otherwise (that their game doesn't translate well). If you were a medium efficiency guy then, you are a medium efficiency guy now.

I assume a good outside shooter in the 70s would be a good outside shooter in the 2020s. Only difference is it is a three pointer instead of a 18-20 footer.


I assume a different shot profile with many of those long 2s in the past becoming 3s in today's game.

I don't really give guys a boost in terms of efficiency unless I see a good argument for it. Say a guy like Petrovic. He would be taking 10 threes a game in today's league. I am happy to give him an efficiency boost based on that. I don't give a boost generally but I will in specific cases where I see a strong argument for it.

Terry Cummings (my 6th man / starter when I want to go small) and Walter Davis were both top 5 MVP guys in their peak season. Not too bad for bench players

I’m curious how far the talent level will drop off during binkie time.

There are still a lot of good / useful guys on the board and the 12th man isn’t a 15th man. Curious to see if people stick with BPA or go off the binkie deep end.

Im back from my bachelor party and ready to rock for the final round. Rounds 10-11 also gave me a chance to sneak off and get some quiet time on Friday which was nice amidst the chaos.

I think guys may take some flawed guys who they loved watching, but I wouldn't expect "victory cigar" type players.  Maybe, though.

There are many fantastic players that won't get drafted.  I know that for me, even limiting myself to guys I really enjoyed watching, there are two guys screaming for a roster spot.  Bummer that I can't have both.

There is one guy who I’m shocked wasn’t drafted but Who I’m actually surprised that you didn’t grab him. He may have flown under your radar.

There are also a couple of glue guy types who seemed ideal last 2 day picks as well.

But multiple starters? Now I’m intrigued.

I was pretty shocked that one guy was still on the board - but, unfortunately for me, it was because of a classic bit of Excel irritation: He's listed as Nathanial Archibald in the Top 75 list, but Tiny Archibald on Basketball Reference.

Jason Williams is probably a bit of a victory cigar unless the team is going very small, to be honest, since he's behind Agent Zero and TMC - but I still rate him as probably the most creative passer I've ever seen (with Rondo as a very close second).
