Haliburton gets 5yrs $260mil from Indy
Fair enough. He's going to be great.

Bane though... wow! He's an efficient 20/5/5 guy, so I guess that's not too crazy

I would've thought something in the 5yrs $125-150mil range for Bane.

Probably closer to the $30mil per year than $25mil. He is a top 10 SG. Lot of those 11-17th rank starters are getting $18-23mil. So let's go with the $150/5yrs marker.

Heck, Bane is better than Jerami Grant ($32mil per) or Kyle Kuzma ($26mil per).

So Milwaukee have lost their backup PG (Jevon Carter), their backup SF (Joe Ingles) and look set to lose their backup SF/PF (Jae Crowder) with no incoming talent to replace them.

Their bench taking a hit early on.

Bucks without a bench means they might drop down to a middling-playoff team. Giannis just holding them together.

Hate to say it, but it might be another BOS-MIA ECF again. They not losing Jimmy Butler and Bam, and they just got better with Josh Richardson.

Not losing Jimmy and Bam, but losing Vincent, Strus, and potentially Lowry.

So Bucks without their role players = doom, but Miami without theirs = fine? Your logic is inconsistent

If bucks lose lopez though it is far any away the most significant loss for either team. I don’t think these other losses are super significant for either team. Jevon Carter for example is completely irrelevant.

Lopez is the most significant, definitely agree. But I think that Vincent, Strus and even arguably Lowry are all more important to Miami than Carter, Ingles & Crowder were to Milwaukee

Bane is a big part of the reason that the Grizz performance doesn't drop much with Morant out.  He has the best on/off differential for the Grizz.  Not sure what you mean by 11-17th rank but I'd suggest he's better than top 10 SG.

JB is about to get SuperMax.  Is there really that much of a difference between JB and Bane?  If JB and Bane were swapped, would there be a significant difference in performance for the Celts?  Might even be a bit better due to better fit with Tatum and the offense being run.

I like that Monte Morris trade for DET. They should start him at PG. Probably Ivey at SG and C Cunningham at SF. Bring the Thompson twin off the bench for now. Too much mistake-prone play with the Thompson twin and Ivey starting together.

I know they are super young but man that can turn into a really fun team to watch.
ok fine

Bane max extension... Wow.
Jeez! $207mil over 5yrs.

My personal butterfly effect theory for this is that it’s all Liam’s fault
