Wow... I don't think I've ever seen a trade get this detailed, only to fall apart. Man, what a bummer.

That's a shame.

I really like the idea of Brogdon and Gallinari if they are both able to be relatively healthy, so I don't think its the end of the world - but I was starting to really get a little excited about that deal.

The Wizards are still working on ways to get Kristaps Porzingis to the Celtics in an opt-in and trade scenario, but it won't be in a three-way with the Clippers, sources tell ESPN. Porzingis still has the ability to decline his $36 million player option and become a free agent.

Ahh, hope continues.

So it was the Clippers that pulled out?

Well, that’s super interesting. So it wasn’t necessarily about Zinger wanting too much in an extension, but rather that LAC wasn’t happy offering up other compensation?

That’s the only thing that makes sense to me to why you’d suddenly scrap the third team.

My guess is the clippers messed it up last minute because the may want CP3 instead.

Is there a way to get an extension on KP's opt-in date?  We're getting pretty close to the deadline.

Do they even need the Clippers??

Just do Brogdon + Muscala + PP (or Brogdon + Gallinari) and pick(s). Or did the Clips have something Washington really wanted

That is so stupid for LAC. They were getting a bargain in Brogdon.

If so that LAC pulled out, that’s a major blow to a good get for him. I wonder if there’s some ominous news about Brogdon’s injury abd he might be out for an extended period this season.

Sides are working under a midnight ET deadline on Porzingis' $36M player option.

Clippers worried about Brogdan's injury...dude is made of glass.

Concerns raised by the Clippers about Malcolm Brogdon's injury status, league sources say, led to the collapse of the three-team trade expected to send Kristaps Porzingis to Boston before midnight tonight.

A direct Wizards/Celtics deal has not been ruled out.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip
