Not sure why KC went for 2 when they were up 30-23. An extra-point makes it 31-23.
But not really really sure why LV went for 2 when they were just down 30-29. They could've just tied it and play OT. Coaches are crazy aggressive these days lol
I didn't watch that game, but I was looking at the box score and I couldn't figure out what happened. Raiders were down 6, scored the touchdown so kick the extra point to tie!!! I was wondering did the extra point get blocked? Because no one in their right mind would go for 2 right there. You don't get it you lose. Give you team a chance in OT at least!
why did they ever go for 2? So many teams get stopped going for two.
except they didn't lose right there. Because the Chiefs were up they played conservatively and the Raiders had the ball back with over 2 minutes left just needing a FG to win. They got around midfield and failed on 4th and 1. Had the game been tied, the Chiefs play that differently and probably go down the field to kick the game winning FG in regulation. You can see the rationale both ways and considering the Raiders got the ball back with plenty of time it probably ended up as the right call
