Apparently he's going to sign with the Wizards.

Gibson would’ve been a great in the role.

Gallinari might be the 3rd string Center until a better option becomes available and I’m fine with that. He’s 6-10, 240, crafty, and with our perimeter/help defense and the dearth of post scorers in the league (let alone backups Centers), he won’t be a weak point in our defense.

Grant defends Jokic and Giannis better than most players in the league. I’m good with waiting for the right player to be waived or bought out and trusting Brad to close the deal.

This officially becomes the worst contract in the league surpassing Duncan Robinson and his 57 million owed the next three seasons as a one dimensional shooter.

Gallinari certainly will be a weak point in the defense if he's playing center.  Post scorers aren't the big concern.  Guards and wings will be driving the lane.

I'm finding it very hard to justify. The initial contract gave me pause, but I understood the reasoning. This extension is both needless and as extreme as they come. Not sure why they did this years early

Saw Harden took a 15 million dollar pay cut for next year and only added a 1 year player option on the end.  Say what you will about him, but that is a solid team building move.

I do respect guys like Harden who isn’t all about money and want to have a max contract..very few left..he want 76ers to have cap room where they can get more vet players unlike James & others

Can't see anything other than a vet min and maybe one that doesn't have a lot of years of service so the min is really low.

Guys like Harden are the rare ones, but lets be real most of these guys will always chase the money. And I don't even blame them. But people need to stop acting like every star who says "the goal is a championship and I don't care about the money" will always go and take less to join another great team. It's pretty obvious Beal wanted the money and he probably just loves Washington the city/area. That's fine.

I know the rumors were that Horford was willing to re-sign with Boston after they added Kemba (and lost Kyrie) but I don't really buy it unless BOS was going to increase their offer. He chose PHI for the extra 30M, lets not fool ourselves
