Smart with an idiotic comment, saying fans "didn't believe in them" earlier in the season and then "jumped back on the bandwagon."

And whose fault is that, Marcus? You guys weren't passing the ball, weren't playing defense,  and were losing to teams fielding multiple gleaguers in the starting lineup.

Crummy comment.  In the foxhole, I want to be next to the guy who's a little rough around the edges, though.
In the foxhole, I want to be next to the guy who saves my butt.

As far as Smart's comment, I don't think the other Cs care about how Smart psyches himself up. He says some dumb things.

Agreed. He also sang Tatum and Brown praises, and added that no one deserves this more than Horford.  As long as they're good, we're good.

Analysts and Heat fans be complaining about the league saying they stripped away Strus's 3-pointer cuz his foot stepped out of bounds, triggering Butler to take that 3 at the end of the game and it influenced the outcome.

I smell da excuses cominggg

Me as well, tarheels.

Marcus needs to remember all the Garden full-capacity sellouts during the 1st half of the season when the team was an embarrassment given the amount of talent on the roster. Inconsistent effort and playing bad basketball. Still, all those "bandwagon" fans kept packing the place to watch the games and support the team. A real asinine comment, Marcus.

It's not really incorrect at all. If you go look at some game threads from December vs March it will be pretty different

Passionate fans that didn’t believe in the team and wanted changes were not bandwagoners, we just thought the situation was hopeless and wanted some changes.

I love that I was dead wrong. It was a dumb thing for Smart to say

Tom Brady and the Patriots always cried about how they were underdogs and no one believed in them. Did it for over a decade. I don't care what Marcus said. Paul Pierce once said he was the best player in the world after a big win. Whatever it takes to motivate him to perform his best.

Respect to Spoelstra for his presser. He was very complimentary about our current team and the years it took to get here. It must really suck to lose a game 7 as a coach - especially one who has experienced so much success - and he really kept it classy.

he's a hell of a coach. Tbh i dont think we really solved their defensive schemes yet and that worries me for the next series if GSW can try and replicate that. Hope the guys figure it out.

GS is nowhere near as gritty and they don't have anybody who can just grind out possessions like Jimmy. Of course they are world class in terms of ball movement and shooting, and they do have a solid defense, but it'll be nice to get out of the trenches and play our game again. The teams are actually really even if healthy.

the c’s have matched up well with golden state over the past few years. the current c’s team has proven to be much grittier and more mature. i like our chances.

You sure about that? I  guess you missed game 6 then

Looking like theres gonna be 2 days between games in the finals as well as 3 days before game 1. Our guys need some great treatment after the past 2 grueling series. Im sure every one is beat up but Rob especially could use the time off. He wasnt looking as bouncy the past few games and he will be crucial in the finals.
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Right?
