This might be the best 2 minutes & 13 seconds of your morning.

LOL

I enjoyed that but in the back of my mind I’m aware that Lakers won’t ever endure an extended fall from grace. So the joy of one year of humiliation will soon be undone when the next wave of top 5 players sign or force a trade there.

I mean they were just pretty bad a number of years in a row as they drafted randle, russell, ingram etc. They don't have much salary flexibility. Can't see how they move Westbrook next year either.
They've had 2 winning seasons in the last 9 seasons.  They had 4 straight seasons of 27 or fewer wins.  Due to the AD trade, their 2026 1st round pick is the earliest they can trade.  AD has shown he's not a #1 star but he may not even be a reliable #2.  Lebron has said he wants to play with Bronny.  Their best move probably would be to trade Lebron in the offseason.

Besides Shaq and Lebron, who is the Lakers next best free agent acquisition?

If they trade for Bane they'll be back at the finals again

Trade what?

Lebron and/or AD of course
Gotta toss in a pick or two.  :)

Seriously though if I'm the Grizz I wouldn't trade for Lebron or AR.  They've got a good thing going and don't need the baggage of either.

Everything lebron touches turns to gold, but promptly turns to rotten dung after he leaves

Lets just play this pretend scenario. Either this offseason or the next, the Lakers and/or Lebron decide to move on due to circumstances and frustration/inconsistencies. Where do people think Lebron goes? Back to Cleveland? Miami? I know he's said he'll join a team that adds his son so could that be OKC lol?

I actually wouldn't be too surprised to see the Lakers trade Lebron. Call it my hot take, but I don't think Westbrook or even AD right now have super high trade values and they are kinda stuck with what they have at least for another year. And I do think some teams would give up a fortune for even 1-2 more years of LBJ

As much as I hate the lakers I would respect them a lot if they did this.  Show lebron that they're bigger than him.

Nets down 15 to ATL at the half with whom they are tied for 8th place entering the day.

It would be sweet to see them in the 9-10 play-in game.
Don't jinx it!

BKN loses with KD going for 55.

What if Bronny J decides he wants to play for the Celtics? Brad Stevens would need to make room for LeBron as well lol

Brooklyn loses again in spite of a career high 55 from Durant.

They're now tied for 9th.

KD has 55...yet Kyrie took more shots. Go figure.

I can't believe KD had never scored over 55. For someone who has been an elite volume scorer for so long, would've thought a 60 pointer would be within reach

KD & Kyrie combined for 60 shots man. Insane.

Turns out, two best ISO players doesn't make a team.

I'm not really that surprised. Durant has always seemed like a player who let the game come to him. He's only averaged 20 shots a game twice in his career before this season. He's just so stupidly efficient.

Why is Brooklyn starting Drummond instead of Nic Claxton? I don't understand why they have been so reluctant to play Claxton. He did a nice job for them in the playoffs last year and is far and away their best defensive big man. Their only good defensive big man.

One would think their one and only good defensive big man would be of value next to high usage high scoring perimeter players.

Claxton did play more than Drummond.

Just saw a meme online- LeBron already messaging to Coach K that there will be a coaching vacancy in LA when summer comes  ;D

Wouldn't surprise me if LeGM does that
