Lets just play this pretend scenario. Either this offseason or the next, the Lakers and/or Lebron decide to move on due to circumstances and frustration/inconsistencies. Where do people think Lebron goes? Back to Cleveland? Miami? I know he's said he'll join a team that adds his son so could that be OKC lol?

I actually wouldn't be too surprised to see the Lakers trade Lebron. Call it my hot take, but I don't think Westbrook or even AD right now have super high trade values and they are kinda stuck with what they have at least for another year. And I do think some teams would give up a fortune for even 1-2 more years of LBJ
Is Bronny even that good, i.e. lottery-level?  Serious question as I have not followed his college career.  I'm sure he's got LeBron's hard work/diligence and I heard he's stronger than LeBron at the same age.  Is his best asset for the drafting team that dad wants to play with him?

Nets down 15 to ATL at the half with whom they are tied for 8th place entering the day.

It would be sweet to see them in the 9-10 play-in game.
Don't jinx it!
Watched the last 2 minutes.  Kyrie tried to tie it up with a running 3 and missed, then Trey nailed his 3.  Well-done Hawks!

This might be the best 2 minutes & 13 seconds of your morning.

LOL

I enjoyed that but in the back of my mind I’m aware that Lakers won’t ever endure an extended fall from grace. So the joy of one year of humiliation will soon be undone when the next wave of top 5 players sign or force a trade there.

I mean they were just pretty bad a number of years in a row as they drafted randle, russell, ingram etc. They don't have much salary flexibility. Can't see how they move Westbrook next year either.
In retrospect, that would have been a pretty good (but not great) core. All 3 have had pretty good NBA careers so far. That 2016-17 team also had Zubac, Corey Brewer, Jordan Clarkson, Nick Young.  LAL just doesn't build teams, they buy them.

BKN loses with KD going for 55.

KD has 55...yet Kyrie took more shots. Go figure.
I laughed out loud looking at that box score. KD goes for 55 on 28 shots, Kyrie scores 31 on 32 shots. Kyrie takes 4 more shots and KD scores 24 more points?! Yikes.

btw, KD's eFG% in last night's game was .821!

here is his 247 recruit profile

https://247sports.com/Player/LeBron-James-Jr-46058619/

Top 50 in his high school class as a junior.  He is a lot smaller than Lebron at 6'3".  If he has another growth spurt in him he'd have clear NBA potential but even without it he could certainly earn it on his own based on how he is rated right now.

Bryce James is trending better than Bronny is though (2 years younger but already as tall). I don't think Lebron can really stick around for Bryce but that is something to watch

No free throw attempts for Kyrie on his 32 shots.  Basketball genius.

To be fair, KD actually had 44 points on his 28 shots. The other 11 points came from some kind of shot or over-the-limit foul. That's not to say KD didn't earn his full 55 points, it just always seems disingenuous to me that guys will get FTs, but they won't be counted as shots. Possessions were used to get those FTs, they weren't just free points awarded to BKN.

I know, weird pet peeve of mine, but a guy could conceivably score 50 on zero shots if he just got fouled 25 times. Either way, I do agree that the points are well-earned getting fouled and getting to the FT line.

Davis said Lakers can win next 5 games 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Next 5:

home against Denver
home against Phoenix
@ Golden State
home against OKC
@ Denver

I think there are a few teams still trying to fight for playoff spots/HCA. I could see Phoenix resting guys already but between division rivals Idk if they want to do that. Won't surprise me if OKC plays spoilers again lol. I think Davis has more of a chance getting injured within those 3 of those 5 games than them going 5-0 at this point

DEN will be trying hard to stay out of the play-in bracket. They are tied for 5th/6th in the West and MIN is 2 games back, but with the H2H tiebreaker.
