Fwiw, here are some free agents that are still available. The ones in red are restricted.

PG: Isaiah Thomas, Mike James, Frank Ntilikina, Dante Exum, Dennis Smith Jr, Jeff Teague, Brad Wanamaker
SG: Josh Hart, JJ Redick, Wes Matthews, Avery Bradley, Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk
SF: Hamidou Diallo, James Ennis, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot
PF: Lauri Markkanen, Paul Millsap, Jarred Vanderbilt
C: Boogie Cousins, Bismack Biyombo, Isaiah Hartenstein

Don't think we'll sign any of them. We already have 15 guaranteed contracts, plus Jabari on a team option. That said, I'd love us to somehow sign Millsap. Highly doubt he's willing to sign for the minimum otherwise he would have already joined a contender.
I would happily bring in Millsap and Avery Bradley. Cut Parker in that instance, and dump Dunn + Fernando for something. Roster of:

Schroder - Prtichard - Edwards
Smart - Richardson - Bradley
Brown - Nesmith - Langford
Tatum - Millsap - Grant W - Hauser [2-way]
Horford - Rob W - Kanter

Can you explain your thought process on wanting Avery Bradley? Why would we want any guard that isn't good enough to be a longer term starter?

Depth, plus surrounding the young guys with solid vets?

We have absolutely zero need for either depth or veterans in our backcourt. We have Smart, Shroder and Richardson, and Jaylen has played most of his minutes at the 2 spot over the past few years if we ended up needing anyone else. Obtaining anyone at power forward means pushing him into the backcourt. We have three young promising players who need minutes.

Minutes matter.

Did Goukii suggest having him take minutes from the young guys, though?  He has him as a replacement for Dunn, I believe.

The Memphis Grizzlies are trading Patrick Beverley to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Jarrett Culver and Juancho Hernangomez, sources tell ESPN.

Odd but exciting, because now Memphis can trade us Kyle Anderson.  I have no clue what Minny is doing, but I’m not sure they do either.

The Wolves gave up on Culver pretty quick huh? He was going to be a bit of a long term dice roll coming in, and they booted him after 2 seasons? Very wolves-esque.

Maybe they forgot there’s a roster limit.  But getting a chance on a top 10 pick in his third season makes some sense.  Good to get Culver out of Minny sooner than later?

Pat Beverly is not good at basketball. The wolves just mortgaged another top lottery pick player for a dud.

The grizz just took advantage of the wolves. The wolves and cavs are now the worst two front offices in the nba.

The Grizz seem to have a lot of players.

Only if your salary is being combined with another player’s.  On your own, you can be shipped immediately.

I kind of understand this from Memphis' perspective.  They pick up a guy only two years removed from being a well-regarded prospect.  Culver hasn't turned into the high-IQ swiss army knife that he was billed as, and that jumpshot definitely hasn't improved.  But Memphis might think Culver's struggles were because Minnesota's culture is a s***house and perhaps they can fix him.

I don't love the deal.  Culver is a mediocre fit next to Morant, even if he pans out.  But if Memphis can rehabilitate him, they stand to gain value from this.  And even if they don't, they don't lose much - Beverley is 33 years old and is missing a lot of games as he ages.  Can't keep up that playstyle forever.

Perhaps that lottery player(Culver)is the dud? You call it "mortgag(ing) a top lottery pick player" but it could also be "offloading a bust". I am not sure there are more than a handful of posters on this site that would call trading Langford "mortgag(ing) a top lottery pick player". I gather most bloggers here would call trading Langford for a productive vet as "making lemonade out of lemons".

Hernangomez was rising prospect with Nuggets a few seasons ago. Just didn’t pan out. Good size.

Supposedly was who we wanted in the 2016 draft at #16, but he went a pick earlier and we wound up with Yabusele, at least per my recollection of an interview Tim Connelly from years ago.
