If we bring Cousins in, either he or Kanter will start, and Stevens will sub in who ever he needs to get the job done.

Cousins/Kanter/Theis/Williams/Tacko

Combine them all together and you get a legit center, kinda like Voltron. :P

People forget that Brook was also a very bad defender. Kanter showed last playoffs that he can be serviceable on the defensive end.

Shows promise. He's grown as a player each year in the league. Put him with guys like Smart and Kemba who will drive him and he can improve again defensively.

For the price this is a great signing, low risk. We had a massive hole at C so I'm glad we got someone who can contribute

I think Kanter will have a great year for us, will vastly outplay his contract value this season and will comand more money next year. If that's the case, could we go over the cap to retain him? I mean, will we have his bird rights or something like that?

I really dont see the downside in signing a big man who averaged a double double and put up some amazing numbers in the playoffs...
