LA did great. I mean they gave up Bynum who didn't even play at all last year (and who has barely played this year) for a shot at convincing Dwight they were the place to be. I'd do that trade every single time even at the expense of a 2017 protected pick. They also picked up Earl Clark and Chris Duhon for Josh McRoberts, Christian Eyenga, and a 2015 2nd rounder. I'd say the Lakers made out quite well.
I remember people were ready to trade Rondo for CP3 and were hoping they'd "
convince" CP3 to stay.
People were similarly hoping to "
convince" Dwight to say. What they wanted was something along the lines flipping KG and/or Pierce for Dwight then flipping Rondo for CP3 then hoping to convince all of them to stay.
