Lol beginning to think we messed up by not trading for kawhi.

I wanted him last summer but it seemed the Spurs wanted a "win-now piece", which they viewed DeRozan as. And also, there was some risk involved with his injury + rental status which could explain why he wasn't traded for a while.

Summer Celtic fans:  “We don’t need kawhi... we have Jaylen brown”

Brown has a loooooong way to go to even sniff the talent of KL.
Honestly, Brown should be watching Kawhi in these playoffs.. How he manages to score easily with those midrange shots...almost effortless and unblockable.

Yes he does, but he's got a smooth go to two-pointer and a good three pointer already.  Tatum is the one who needs to simplify things ala Leonard.
I still believe that Jaylen has Kawhi potential, his post game and three point shot are already there, just need some more moves on offense.
I really highly doubt Jaylen will ever be a top 5 player in the NBA
Well more crow for you to eat after doubting him this season
Don't expose my reverse jinx for what it is!

Bucks are going to get a wake up call now... Raptors are on another level compared to Celtics and Pistons... Pistons are basically a lottery team and Celtics looked like trash all year.

Should be a great series.  Giannis has more help (I think), but Leonard is balling on another level right now.

I like the Raptors in a classic 7 game series.  At the end of the day I trust Leonard to execute late in the game.

Bucks in 7.

Raps offense is too predictable in crunch time.

Bucks have better defense and better spacing than Philly.

I think against Bucks the rest of the Raptors will show up

I don't. I think Milwaukee wins most of the matchups except for Kawhi. The Bucks beat Toronto 3 times this year, twice in Toronto. And Milwaukee is rolling right now. I think there is a great chance the Bucks are the NBA champs. And with Brogdon returning, I can see him being put on Kawhi to defend him.

Toronto's defense is good enough to give them a chance... It won't be a cake walk for the Bucks.

Well my initial playoff predictions were way off! (lol)

Anyway, I think the Bucks handle the Raptors

I am really rooting for Portland but I think they fall to GSW (even if Durant will be out for game 1 and maybe game 2.)

Milwaukee/Golden State should be a good series, but I think the Warriors three-peat.

The Bucks haven't really played anyone good in the playoffs, so the Raptors will be their true test.

Kawhi is one hell of a basketball player.. A rare breed in the mold of the superstars of the past, can carry a team by himself.. Gosh imagine this guy paired by another star and it can be over.. Remember he almost handled the Warriors by himself as well before Zaza took him out..wonder where he ends up in summer.

That series against Philly was like a contemporary Jordan. Obviously MJ did it a whole bunch of times and with a bit more verticality to his game, but that series reminded me a lot of him.

If Kawhi got the specially-timed calls it would be very close. But he's not marketable enough for that status.

Now that I think about it, you are absolutely right.  Extremely Jordanesque.
