Raptors won this trade by a landslide whether Kawhi Leonard leaves or not.

They wanted clutch playoff performance, an ECF appearance, and iconic moments. He got the Raptors that.

I really hope they curb-stomp those phony Bucks and win it all. Can't stand Milwaukee and Golden State.

Phony bucks? Why are they phony?

They aren't as good as advertised to me. They swept a weak Pistons team, and beat a Celtics team who look like their inconsistency eliminated them from the series more than what the Bucks did. You can't get beat by George Hill and Pat Connaughton. Just take away their other guys and Giannis can't do it all himself.

Although the X-factor will be Malcolm Brogdon. Have to see how he does.

If Butler leaves they might actually get someone that fits better.

Yep, Butler is an aggressive, tough competitor, very talented, but also a headcase who causes friction everywhere he goes. Maybe he and Kyrie could team up in LA with James and have the most self-centered, self-important roster in the league. Think of all the barely disguised verbal shots that could take at each other and their coach after bad losses, while proclaiming themselves basketball geniuses and saviors of mankind.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Not to mention Jason Kidd trying to back-stab Coach Vogel at every turn

Who would've thunk that after Nurkic went down the Trailblazers would make the WCF?

Lol beginning to think we messed up by not trading for kawhi.

I wanted him last summer but it seemed the Spurs wanted a "win-now piece", which they viewed DeRozan as. And also, there was some risk involved with his injury + rental status which could explain why he wasn't traded for a while.

Summer Celtic fans:  “We don’t need kawhi... we have Jaylen brown”

Brown has a loooooong way to go to even sniff the talent of KL.
Honestly, Brown should be watching Kawhi in these playoffs.. How he manages to score easily with those midrange shots...almost effortless and unblockable.

Yes he does, but he's got a smooth go to two-pointer and a good three pointer already.  Tatum is the one who needs to simplify things ala Leonard.

I still believe that Jaylen has Kawhi potential, his post game and three point shot are already there, just need some more moves on offense.

Not to mention uhh... DPOY-level defense?

KL is a special talent. I’m a fan of JB but realistically, he’s not going to be Kawhi. They’re different players imo. But yes, agreed that JB can be special on offense. I really like his post game and I wish CBS would feature him more there.

I really highly doubt Jaylen will ever be a top 5 player in the NBA

JB may not be an MVP material but he have shown DPOY potential. We just need to surround him with more competent defenders.
