I am kinda glad Philly won.

Like I said, I am rooting for Philly to eliminate Toronto because if/when we eliminate Milwaukee, I just think Philly is a better match-up for us.

The Celts have proven they can win in Philly, not so much in Toronto.

I am on the same line of thought.
Toronto needs more contributors on the offensive end soon.

Raptors play n now not to tank .   If they loose this series , Kawhi is 99.9% history , he ll be a Clipper .  Raptors and fat old Kyle Lowry will be rebuilding after all the ring chasers bolt

I don't think Kawhi gives a crap how far the Raptors make it in the playoffs.

He might stay in Toronto, but I feel like going out in the Semis/CF/Finals isn't going to play into it that much. He already has his ring and Finals MVP.

Toronto going out with a whimper.

I expect a major rebuild next year as Leonard exits.

I disagree. He is far more likely to stay if they win the championship and more likely to leave if they get knocked out in 2nd round. Ditto Kyrie.

Toronto fans are some of the worst in all of sports.

I would love nothing more than to see them implode on themselves should the Raptors lose this series.

What happened? I know they hate us (as with 99% of the non Celtic fans in the league, but they still manage to stand out lol), but what triggered this lol

but just being around them

Toronto fans are incredibly insecure.

"Why dont we get games on US media?"
"Why is there an agenda bias against us?"
"WAH WAH WAH"

or

"We are the best, your team is trash etc."

I actually saw, or raptors boards, people happy that Hayward broke his foot.

It's always beautiful seeing their team fall below their delusional expectations year in year out

Embiid though is such an unlikable player.

Lol true, they're constantly thinking that they're a CF/finals team year after year, even in the Derozan/Lowry era.

Uhhhhhhhhh...they don't get games on the US media because there are teams who'd bring more in terms of commercial value to the league? They are a big market in Toronto but not in the US itself. And there's no bias against them LOL, and tell them to get into the finals for once before they talk about being close to the best. Also that's disgusting, but I think every fanbase has those types of fans.

Never thought I would say this, but Philly is looking good.
i mean... they obviously are the most talented team in the East. It’s always been their conference to lose. But mental fortitude, health, and coaching can stop them.

For the first time since this whole AD saga began I believe Cs really need AD. Philly has turned into a monster.

You are being prisoner of the moment. Raptors win Game 4 the narrative changes again. This series has more to do with them than anything else.

I did not watch the game, but the highlights have Embiid looking like the next great NBA legend.
Jeeeeesh. He isn't even the best player in the series

Yeah that's clearly Kawhi (the man the myth the legend) and it seems to me that even on his own team, Jimmy Buckets has been the best player in this series so far through 3 games, though another game like last night's from Embiid and he surely takes that crown.
2023 Non-Active, Non-NBA 75 Historical Draft, SAB Bulls:

PG: Deron Williams 08 / John Wall 17
SG: David Thompson 78 (HOF) / Hersey Hawkins 91
SF: TMac 03 (HOF) / M.R. Richardson 81 / Tayshaun 07
PF: Larry Nance Sr 92 / Blake Griffin 14
C: Lanier 77 (HOF) / Brad Daugherty 91 / Camby 07

I actually don't mind him.  Simmons is the one that drives me nuts.
