I may have overrated the Raptors a bit. They're a great team and full of depth but it's not showing the last game and a half. Lowry is again being "Playoff Lowry" and basically, if Kawhi can't score 40+ the Raps have trouble winning.

It all depends on Siakam. If he's great they are really good. If not they don't have anyone else you have to really worry about.

Yeah that's true as well.

But yikes, now Raptors down by 14. 10-2 run in the last 2 minutes by PHI.

Lowry has played like 22 minutes this half and scored just 5 points on 1-5 shooting.

This blog bashes Hayward for not producing at times since he has a max contract but Lowry is getting paid like 31M for consistent playoff chokes  :P

Is there a reason people are rooting for Philly

Personally, I'd much rather Philly gets knocked out this round as opposed to them even having the chance at playing the Finals, regardless if they play the ECF against MIL or us.

I thought this would be an easy series for Toronto, guess not I got Raptors in 6 or 7 now Philly might be able to beat them 3 times but i can't picture 4.

I'm rooting for the Sixers because we can definitely beat them in a 7 game series. I'm not so sure about Toronto, they may have the edge over us.

Also, a legit revival of the Celtics-Sixers rivalry in the ECF against a group of players so easy to hate like Embiid, Simmons, and Butler would be epic. Great for us and great for the league.

I don't care who wins this series. C's toughest matchup has already started IMO.

Both teams running 8 man rotations.

Raptors 44%
76'ers 49%

Can't say Raps have a big second half in them. Kind of clunky tonight.

Buckets, Simmons and JJ playin' real hard.

The point? Neither of these teams possess much in the way of playoff DNA.

Leonard is a great player.

Lowry has lost most of the playoff games he's ever played in.

As far as Philly? Terry Freaking Rozier lit them up last May...they could barely win a game....nice confetti though.

Oh, that did not look good for Redick. Got his Achilles’ tendon stepped on and was hobbling afterwards. Not good for someone who runs around screens and cuts angles as much as him.

Beyond this, though, a second round series loss makes it much more likely that Kawhi bolts to LA rather than resign in Toronto. That’s ideal, in addition to a 76ers series being much more of an ideal matchup for us than Toronto.

But what if we lose to the Bucks? I think the Sixers actually match up well against the Bucks and suddenly they could be in the Finals as a result.

That is the worst possible scenario and we shouldn't imagine such horrible things.

This is closer than it should be.
