Never thought I would say this, but Philly is looking good.
i mean... they obviously are the most talented team in the East. It’s always been their conference to lose. But mental fortitude, health, and coaching can stop them.

For the first time since this whole AD saga began I believe Cs really need AD. Philly has turned into a monster.

You are being prisoner of the moment. Raptors win Game 4 the narrative changes again. This series has more to do with them than anything else.

No, but I did not watch the game, but the highlights have Embiid looking like the next great NBA legend.

Raptors still appear to be mentally weak. Lowry cannot be counted on. We’ll see if Kawhi has a god mode switch in Game 4.

Jeeeeesh. He isn't even the best player in the series

Who was the best player in this last game? I am not being a prisoner of the moment or at all.

Kawhi needs help... he cannot beat this Philly team by himself.

Embiid was, but it's not like it was by some large margin.

Kawhi has averaged 37.6PPG, 7.3RPG and 3.6APG alongside perhaps the best wing defence in the entire league all the while not shooting more than 25 times in any game. Siakam was alright, but other than that Kawhi had almost no help.

I think you might be.

Raptors bench suddenly turning into a pumpkin has surprised the heck out of me. Kawhi scored well but he had 5 TOs and didn't seem to have the same energy level as the last two games in my eyes.

I did not expect the 76ers to bounce back so well after that first game.

Here's Siakam tripping Embiid. This is exactly what Grayson Allen did a few years ago to Ray Spalding that made him one of the most despised college players.

Yeah the series is going to be very chippy.

The Serge flagrant, the trip, Simmons elbowing Lowry in the nuts.

Very good lesson for us here - dominating Game 1 doesn't guarantee anything in a series. If we're not careful Milwaukee could easily do the same to us tomorrow.

Exactly my concern. My confidence fell back to earth when they got blown out in Game 2. Celtics now gotta treat this series like they're down 0-2.
Yeah if Boston loses game 3 I think the series is over.  It is a must win for the C's (though not for the Bucks, they just need to win 1 of the 2 games in Boston).

Nah, if we split at home we're still in the series, we just made it a lot harder on ourselves. I wouldn't even 100% count the team out if we went down 3-1, it'd be around 98% out but we'd be talented and experienced enough to do it if things broke our way.

Still, Game 3 is enormous. Getting hyped already!

Agree, the last few posts have become an overreaction. They likely won't fire Brown, and we already know that Stevens owns a whole apartment block in his head.

I mean... I've been saying all along that Philly should win the East.  They are the most talented team in the Conference.  I'd go as far as saying that if they fail to make the Finals, they should fire Brown IMMEDIATELY.  They should have gone much further than they did last year too.

Yet you said Embiid is looking like the next NBA legend based off his highlights, and that we might need AD to deal with them...

I stand by that. Tatum has taken a slide backwards...Philly got better with Harris and Butler...Cs need another star to pair with Kyrie.

I like our chances down 3-1 if we had LeBron James on the team.

But down 3-1 and this team had a lot of trouble figuring out themselves during the regular season when they were losing consecutively, throwing others under the bus etc. They need to prove to me that they're battle-ready at home even after that beat down in Game 2.

Anyone heard of the whole Enes Kanter commotion with the Denver Nuggets fans. Sounds brutal.

Now really hoping Portland wipe the floor out of Denver.
