I will say it is incredibly stupid Embid, Leonard and others are still in this game right now up 26 with 5 minutes left. Both teams are lucky nobody was hurt on that last layup.

Edit: Thankfully they got him out.

If this keeps up I will be the firs to admit I was wrong on and have underestimated Philly. As it is, they are completely dominating Toronto right now, and Toronto looks shellshocked. Maybe the toronto jersey outweighs who is in it.

I think Toronto is going to turn the corner every year, especially this one, but they are the same team in the playoffs every year.

I think it has a whole lot to do with their routine choker at PG. They need to get rid of Lowry, whether or not Kawhi resigns

Kawhi needs to play 48 for them to win.

Boy does Philly players love to celebrate every play. Way to cocky and shame on Toronto for not showing any fight and letting them rub it in their face. Embiid practically blows himself when he makes a good play. Too early but I would love for the Celts to meet up with them in the ECF

All the Embiid grandstanding is so annoying

Yeah, and they clearly don't understand the notion of not giving the opposing team bulletin board material. I find Embiid so annoying when they're on runs, as he acts like an immature child out there. It's almost WWE level stuff with him and the crowd.  ::)

Me too. Embiid looks strong and confident again. Would love Sixers to win this series.

Kind of scared if they go to the NBA finals. But they tanked hard to get to this point. Trusting the process.

Very good lesson for us here - dominating Game 1 doesn't guarantee anything in a series. If we're not careful Milwaukee could easily do the same to us tomorrow.

Exactly my concern. My confidence fell back to earth when they got blown out in Game 2. Celtics now gotta treat this series like they're down 0-2.

Are you really?  This is who Toronto has been all year for the most part.  Kawhi is awesome.  Siakam is very good.  And then they have a bunch of role players (and a very deep bench).  They've only ever really looked awesome when they have multiple role players play like they aren't role players (but they are role players so that doesn't happen consistently).  Philly has the best starting lineup in the East and have since they acquired Harris (and frankly might have had it before the Harris trade).  The playoffs are always about top heaviness because rotations shrink, starters play more minutes, etc.  The only reason I had any doubt about Philly entering the series was Embiid's health, but when the Sixers won game 2 with Embiid still not looking all that good I figured the rails could come for the Raptors.  They aren't dead yet as the Sixers don't have someone like Lebron James, but at this point if Embiid can stay reasonably healthy the rest of the series, I'd be pretty surprised if the Sixers lose the series.  Top heaviness almost always wins in the playoffs.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Yeah if Boston loses game 3 I think the series is over.  It is a must win for the C's (though not for the Bucks, they just need to win 1 of the 2 games in Boston).

Joel Embiid when healthy is the best center in the league and dangerous.

Horford still owns him though.
