Danny would probably match $12 million per year for Terry unless there is better value for an equivalent or better PG.  For all of his flaws, Terry would provide a stable presence for the next year or two.  His contract would also be relatively easy to move if a big trade presented itself.

I agree with you on everything else.

Nothing about Terry Rozier says "stable presence" to me.

Yes; more like “stagnant presence”. It will be great next year if we don’t have to watch him ruin potential runs by taking no-pass pull-up threes when the Cs have a fast break, or dribble to nowhere in the halfcoirt offense before hoisting a fallaway three or contested shot in the paint. Then on defense there’s letting his man go right by him to the rim, getting wiped out on picks, failing to communicate on switches.

Enough.

Lol, for real. No interest in Rozier as our starting point guard

None.

I think instead of the above, we have MS as our PG, and sign a true shooting guard that can hit the threes instead of resigning Terry.

I don't get how some people think next year's team will be more fun to watch without Kyrie on it. This team doesn't play consistent basketball whether Kyrie plays or not.

Is it really that simple?  Many players on the team have mentioned that it's been difficult to establish roles.  We had Hayward returning from injury.  Brown, Tatum, and Rozier were overconfident after last seasons playoff run.  This meant that Kyrie was returning to a drastically different team.  All of these factors have led to confusion, poor communication, and inconsistent effort.

Bad habits don't go away very easily, especially in the middle of a season.  I'm fairly confident that the current group, minus Kyrie, would establish a completely different mindset if they had a full training camp together.

So yes, I believe they would be more fun to watch than this years team.  That said, I'm hopeful that next years team is even more fun WITH Kyrie.

Especially if me-first players Rozier and Morris are gone.
