Rondo needs the ball, LeBron needs the ball, Ball needs the ball.
QuoteRondo, whom Deveney states has wanted to join the Lakers since 2015, could take the starting point guard job away from Lonzo Ball, writes Sam Amick of USA Today. A source tells Amick that the L.A. front office has promised Rondo the chance to compete for a starting spot.Just gross. Argh.

Ugh Rondo a Laker
Rondo is a terrible fit next to LeBron. They let Randle go to sign Rondo. I didn't think it was possible for Magic to screw up an off season in which he signed LeBron James but I think he is doing it

Tim Reynolds✔@ByTimReynolds Rajon Rondo will be the 34th player to play for both the Celtics and Lakers. I'm stunned the number is that high, to be honest.

That don’t mean nothing. They just got another teammate,” LaVar Ball told CNN’s Chris Cuomo. “A little backup, that’s good.
Did Rondo once say he would never play for the lakers?

Rajon Rondo had planned on signing with the Los Angeles Lakers as a free agent in the summer when it became clear that he no longer had a future with the Boston Celtics, according to sources.Rondo expected a maximum contract to be signed. When the Dallas Mavericks traded for Rondo, he was open to re-signing with the franchise. Rondo reportedly hasn't given up on that possibility despite the issues that have arisen, but sources say he won't return if Rick Carlisle is retained as head coach. With how poorly Rondo has played since going to the Mavericks and since his ACL injury, a maximum contract is almost uncertain to be offered to him.
