Apparently bulls are in play as partner with LA LAKERS to get AD.  La gets AD.  Bulls get Lonzo, Hill, #4.  Pelicans get kuzma, Hart, 2020 unprotected, #7 pick and lavine.

If I’m New Orleans, it’s a done deal.

That’s speculation from Zach Lowe.
I just created a thread on Reddit asking what people would be willing to give up for Lonzo if Davis ends up a Laker and Kyrie goes to the Nets.

Would you give the Pelicans the Memphis 1st?  How about #14 + #20 + #22?  Lonzo aligns with the ages of Brown and Tatum.  Our window is 5 years down the line... could be a good pickup if we can somehow grab him.
Why give up so much draft capital for Lonzo Ball when we already have a guard signed long term on the roster (Smart)? Feels like those resources could be better allocated elsewhere on the roster.

#NBA Celtics - The framework that Danny Ainge has offered the Pelicans (player wise) is Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, G. Yabusele, and Robert Williams for Anthony Davis. David Griffin is using the Lakers for “leeway” to receive more draft picks in any deal from Boston.

If that’s true - he’s probably trying to get the Memphis pick out of this, as well. Can’t imagine that he’ll get it though, as that’s a lot to risk.

No it's not. Who cares about draft picks? They're trade chips anyway. Just get the deal done.

Huh? Were the third picks in 2016 (Brown) and 2017 (Tatum) also just trade chips that nobody cared about? Keeping the Memphis pick allows us to still have a likely high draft pick to potentially hit on if AD leaves.
maybe it is a high draft pick.  It might be 10th.  It might be 14th.  Heck maybe in some miracle Morant is a monster and Jackson takes a huge leap and they make the playoffs.  the only guarantee is that Boston is not getting a top 6 pick next year.  And for the record, this year the team picking 7th was the 4th worst team in the league and won 22 games.

You realize that if the holder of the #7 pick was the 4th worst team in the NBA, that means 3 teams that finished outside the bottom 4 jumped? So by your logic, and as the Lakers lottery demonstrates, the Griz could make that leap finish 12th or whatever worst and pick 4th, which would give us an unprotected 1st in this new unpredictable environment the next year.

The Memphis pick is insanely volatile, but your own logic about who lands what pick disproves your bearish assessment of its upside.

Lol that’s a horrible deal for Pels. Worse than original Laker offer.

agree glade he isn't GM . ......Pelicans get nothing .  No top 4 ,  Kuzma is no star ,  2020 laker pick if lebron is healthy is not a top 20 pick .  Levine has never impressed me , he ll just be hurt again ...meh. And you ve reloaded your arch enemy in the West for next 10 years ......thats a huge win for Lakers and Good for Bulls .....screws Pelicans

Lol not really.  Two picks and two wing scorers.  It’s better than what we offer with Tatum and smart
Its not a good deal for the Pels unless you overrate LaVine and Kuzma.  Now if I'm the Bulls I'm all over it.

Not interested in a point guard who can't shoot, can't hit free throws, can't stay healthy, and who brings the worst baggage of any player in the league.

I would if it didn’t facilitate the Lakers getting Davis which it would so I wouldn’t 😆

Tatum is still the kingpin in the deal. Tough for the Lakers to top that. All these hypothetical  3 way deals are remote. Good tries by Lakers fans.

Welp. There goes that domino...

Quote
Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn 48s

The Pelicans have agreed to a deal to trade Anthony Davis to the Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks – including the No. 4 overall in 2019 Draft, league sources tell ESPN

Here comes the youth movement.

Wow.

I'm honestly shocked. Danny Ainge planned for years to go after AD and he backed down when the time came.

What is Danny's plan for the Celtics?

I'm actually okay with a youth movement but I'm genuinely upset by the notion that the Celtics don't have a clear plan or philosophy.

LOL told ya the deal will go down over the weekend.

Can't believe they get to keep Kuzma though. What a steal for the Lakers.
