Putting out the story that Anthony Davis won't sign with Celtics without Kyrie Irving in place was brilliant by Rich Paul.

Boston can tell Pelicans to be patient, wait till 7/1. But now Pels have a seed of doubt. If Irving bolts will Boston pull its offer bc Davis won't stay?

There is no amount of drama that should preclude the Pelicans from waiting until after the lottery to move Anthony Davis.
