No, I'm sure the Celtics will take Fultz at #1, and trade him to Phili if all goes as planned. He could certainly torment us in Phili for 15 years though, especially with Embiid and Simmons on his team.

The Celtics had Lauri Markkanen & Dennis Smith in for workouts today. Still trying to get Josh Jackson to come but have been unsuccessful.

At this point, I have absolutely no clue what is going on. It seems really, really fishy to me that Fultz is now being asked to come back to Boston for another workout, yet Danny is supposedly still wanting to take a widely-regarded lesser prospect who continues to refuse to come to Boston for a workout/visit.

Fultz doesnt want to play for Philly. He could have sabotaged that workout. He looked angry in that pick on twitter. He's either mad cause he feels blackballed by Ainge and ruined the trade value on himself or he's bout to ball in LA

First, anybody who makes a decision on Fultz because of one bad workout is nuts.

Second, and more importantly, the Celtics are not accepting #3, Lakers 18 and Philly 21, protection or no protection, for #1. They just aren't. Let's give Danny just a wee bit of credit here. The man has been unbelievable when it comes to trades and acquiring value. He has had numerous opportunities to trade this pick throughout the year and turned them all down. He is clearly placing immense value on the #1. He's not going to decide to accept poor value right before the draft simply because he has an itch to trade.

Who gives a flying **** about the lakers.

No.  Far worse for most C's fans with longevity is the prospect of the most hated rival in sports taking the lead in NBA championships.  I can handle the Sixers having a run as they will wither eventually.  The Lakers, however, will always be a destination team and will always be just around the corner from contention.  C's need to get banners before Lakers get one.
