Let's try to look at this from the Wolves perspective. You want to give me what is essentially an expiring contract and two unproven players who were drafted in the teens for the 7th pick in what is believed to be a very deep draft? Not happening. The same holds true for the offer to the Knicks for the 8th pick. Teams drafting at 7or 8 are hoping to get an All-Star, not role players and roster fillers. It doesn't guarantee that they will get an All-Star, but they will be fishing in the right pond.
I don't like the deal from the C's perspective, but Minny would do well to take that deal. If you look at their guards, AB would be a huge addition for them. They need everything he brings: defense on the point (they have bigger ball handlers who are better off guarding twos), shooting, and most importantly, veteran leadership. Its a good draft, but they have plenty of youthful talent, and its a coin toss whether the guy they get ever gets to be as good as Bradley is right now.
They would want to pay him and they are a team with a future, so he'd likely want to stay. Rozier is someone worth betting on and Yabu is well worth taking a risk on.
From the C's point of view, I see Crowder, Smart and Rozier leaving before AB, and Yabu isn't worth enough as a filler to give him up. Why not hold on to him and see what he is?
Still, you never know what the offers will be. A godfather offer will not be ignored by Ainge.
