I prefer Fultz because of his size and scoring creation. Lonzo Ball is taller but I think long term Fultz is more likely to have the girth to defend multiple positions. Ball is great at finding open shooters, but I think the Celtics need someone other than IT to get to the hoop more than a guy like Ball who doesn't break his man down off the dribble as often.

Long term, if we draft either I'd expect us to develop them slowly with the hope that they are ready to run things by the time IT's contract is up. Short term, I think we would play them as the back up point.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Good pts

Ball is a strange/unique combination of working the perimeter/touch passes, passing over his defenders. Does not drive as often as you would like. But instead will cut to the basket for alley hoop slams/layups, or spot up jump shots.   Good rebounder too.  Hybrid guard. Has a body like courtney lee

Fultz is thicker and can score in all kinds of ways.  Good at passing and rebounding too. Just not as explosive as ball and streaky shooter.

So both players are not a perfect pg by any means. Unique though and triple double threats

I like that both are "gamers" , know how to play and are pretty clutch

Because he is not a pure pg.  Short arms. Not above average in the rebounding department. Some concerns on his overall effort on the floor, especially defensive end

I like the fact that they're both true point guards and both have height.  That would fit well with our current guys.  We are noticeably missing Turner's ball handling and playmaking this year.  Obviously, Ainge would have to move one of our current guys, probably Rozier or Smart.

If you want to mention Ball then I agree Smith should be mentioned. Both guys are flawed and neither is on Fultz level.

Fultz seems like the best athlete.  He looks like Westbrook how he always seems fresh and going full speed.

Fultz to me just looks like he can get past people and shoot over you.

Ball is more creative in how he scores and has that release where it looks like he can just get hot from deep.

Fultz looks like marbury or even telfair.   He just seems like a better athlete though where he doesn't need that aspect to his game as much.  He's a better athlete than those guys and just straight up uses his ability.  He's much bigger and faster than those guys.

Sort of like Smart and Rozier are NOT pure PG's!!!  Sort of like Russell Westbrook is NOT a pure PG!!  Sort of like IT is NOT a pure PG!!

Smith reminds me the most of a shorter Dwayne Wade!!!!

Smitty77

P.S.  But, he plays the point for NCSU!!!!!

None of these guys are really reminiscent of anyone.   Like someone said Ball kind of struggles creating off the dribble it seems.  Fultz is really like no one.  He's build like a guy like john wall or westbrook and that kind of athlete though but different players.  He's more an all around player who just uses his ability. Smith is kind of the same.  Smith seems to struggle shooting at times.

Smith does struggle with his FG% as he has been our go-to scorer until last night.  We just got Omer Yurtseven (projected to go 22 on draftexpress.com) back last night.  Maverick Rowan missed about 80% of our games thus far with a concussion.

Also, Smith is about 15 months removed from getting his torn ACL repaired.

I do think his FG% is already going up and will continue to do so.

Watch this kid!!!

Fultz is like a cross between exum and schroeder

But he is not above the rim from what I have seen.

Ball is just a smart player.  Fiery competitor

One thing about ball no doubt is that he makes other players better and unlike Rondo can shoot

And unlik rondo part 2 , does not pick and choose who to pass to... If you are open, you will see the ball

Fultz wins hands down apparently.  I like Smith though and how he plays.  He seems to have a good feel for the game.  They are all good. Fultz looks like a potential monster.  Smith has some questions but could be kyle lowry mixes with stevie franchise i guess.   I don't think he's stevie franchise.  He's got a really good feel for the game.
