So...a lot of people here wanted Kris Dunn instead of Jaylen Brown?

After seeing him last night...thoughts?

He has a presense about him but I didn't see him insert himself into the game like I was expecting.

It could be his poor shooting. It's been bad and it could explain why he's not more aggressive.

Rozier on the other hand has done a great job of inserting himself into the game with very little playing time.

Jordan Clarkson, backup pg for the Lakers.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

It's too early to tell on him, just like we shouldn't be judging any rookies. Especially when he is playing for coach Thibs who hates using his bench.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I had to watch the Wolves announcers and they pointed out that Dunn is older than Wiggins, Levine, and Townes.  And that is why teams draft youth.

Wow...that's crazy...he's definitely behind the curve.

I never wanted him and thus far that seems to be the correct choice.  That said, I would have tried to trade the pick to a team that wanted Dunn, as I wasn't really impressed with anyone that would have been there at 3.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - Noah, G. Wallace,
Deep Bench -

Unimpressed. Finishing, decisionmaking, shooting are all major issues so far.  Age means he doesn't have the upside of guys like Exum and Mudiay, who are also struggling but are still young and physically under-developed.

yup and him Smart and Rozier were all born within like 12 days of eachother.

Ultimately NBA experience is way more valuable than age.

He will still develop.

Really?  I am not so sure.  I think physical and emotional development are far more important.  Very few 19 year olds are ready for the NBA.  By the time you are 22, on average, you are much better developed.  I guess both matter and it depends on the player but I would be concerned about Dunn based on what he has shown if we had drafted him.  He should be well ahead of the 19 and unders.

I think had we drafted dunn. I think good chance butler would have been a celtic. Even when minny drafted dunn they almost flipped dunn for butler not sure what happened.

Rozier IS better....but we could have traded Dunn for a lot...Everyone was on his jock---I don't see why though..Danny made the right choice. Brown just turned 20--he'll be better than Dunn.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

imagine picking dunn and then the bulls being gun shy (won't trade butler)

Not impressed so far.  "wild" player ....   Wolves is not the right team for him.  He needs vets to help him tone down his game

I agree as of right now, Rozier is better (due to experience factor, improved 3 pt shooting)
