I don't disagree with Draymond. KD wasn't going to sign here. Fans that were booing KD tonight were delusional.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

I thought we had to boo or we were spine less. It's all in good fun to boo the other team and let guys who pass us by hear it. What would have been desperate would have been fans chatting "We want KD" like last year.

Since when we call booing in sports field desperate?! We, at least, in Europe consider booing as normal practice towards every opponent. You paid your ticket, you boo to anyone you want, especially to the opponent. KD got what he deserved. No hard feelings. He's ok. Draymond's not. He's just a borring old lady that talks all the time, commeting all around.

His comment just reflects the fact that we have a large, bad-ass fan base.  That said, if we had him, it's possible we'd make the ECF.

The fact that KD35 spent an entire weekend deciding on where to sign and ultimately ended up going to the Warriors to no one's surprise, is why the Celtics had every rights to boo him.

He should've just ditched the fine dining and plane flights and just signed with the Warriors from the get-go.

And Draymond Green is still a thug. Won't forgive him for those two cheap shots on Evan Turner and Marcus Smart on that final play possession at Oakland last year. And the other stunts he pulled.

Green should tell us then the definition of hime crowd support. maybe he things home crowd should cheer for the visiting team!

imho nba crowds are already too light vs the visiting teams. booing is the list home crowd should do.

btw is green turning into the new rodman ?

This warriors team is the least likable team in the NBA for me because of KD and Draymond Green. I'd love it if they never won a championship

Draymond hitting 3's in the third was the gasoline on the dumpster fire that was our 3rd quarter.

If pressed some of us probably agree we're basketball fans first and Celtics fans second. The people that were booing were mostly Boston sports fans looking for something to latch on to. No hate for  Draymond, I'd take him on our team in a heartbeat.

All that being said it's still tough because with as well as Durant is playing in that enviornment, it makes you wonder how we'd be with him. Instant title contenders.

*Note* No disrepect to anyone on these boards who think Durant should be boo'ed. Just not how I see it.

Honestly, I didn't mind what he was saying. Until he said that the fans that were booing him "have to reevaluate their lives" or something like that. That's taking it too far. Boston is a sports town, a city of champions. He has no right to tell these fans that they have to reevaluate their life direction. That was absolutely unnecessary. Who does he think he is to tell fans to reevaluate their life. This is the same draymond green who did all the nut kicking in the playoffs, snaps a picture of his penis on his snapchat story, and got involved in some assault case in the summer. I think he should be the one who should reevaluate his life.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

You play against a better team and you feel like their best player betrayed you. I don`t find anything wrong trying to get in his head. Unless you are in the stands just to enjoy the game and not see your team winning.

they weren't throwing coins or rocks at him .. he got some booing. so what???

He's right, the Celtics fans are desperate. Desperate for another championship you big dummy. In their house, the Celtics fans are going to boo whoever they want from other teams. What a silly question and dumb answer.

I'm not against boo'ing and am fine with wanting the team to win but he was an unrestricted free agent with no ties to the area. Just don't think this is worth boo'ing about. Do you think he considered Boston and gave us a real shot? I do. What more can you expect?

He saw a chance at being one of the greatest teams of all time in the highest quality of life area of the country. Free agents from around the league saw the kind of draw Boston had and it was enough to bring in Horford. Parading Brady in the Hamptons was a pitch to every up coming free agent along with Durant. All party's benefited, don't see any need for sour grapes.

He sure gave the impression he was interested in the Cs though . And then we made a choice based on his best interest.Nothing wrong with that.

But there is nothing wrong in not liking the guy who rejected you. Maybe you shouldn`t but as the players are pros and support their own interest the fans too want to support and protect the interest of their team.

I still don`t see the problem in booing your opponent.

I don't think Boston fans were sour graping on the fact he choose GS over us. I think it's the fact that he chose GS, of all choices.
